Powerscaling characters we never see fight

Godly - Wotan (Warren can’t beat Wotan. If Warren has the inferno curse then that makes Wotan on the level of the most powerful characters like Theos)

Way Above Calvus - Avery Walker (whooped both Nero and Veridia’s ass in half plus has a curse of a lost magic, plus he can maintain a “smug” appearance in a fight against multiple curse users), Warren (if he has the inferno curse. That powerful of a curse with over 200 years of experience makes him deadly), Cerunno (Cernyx is no pushover but he refers to Cerunno as Him with a capital H like God. Cerunno is world famous and they call him a powerful entity, not even a person. Plus he can afford to light candles with green fire, which means he’s either a chemist or can use the ancient scorch magic like it’s some decorating tool. He can freely sail about through multiple seas and has his own religion. Plus he’s named after a mythological god, so by vetex standards he’s definitely powerful)

Mid Above Calvus - General Veridia (no curse but consistently beat Zaix while sparring), Nero Caesar (above Calvus but clearly not Avery)

Lower Above Calvus - Julian (clashes with a curse that can change the sea), Zaix (the wave curse should be equally as deadly with the same amount of skill required to be a general), Morden (unskilled as a curse user but clashed with Julian. We have yet to see more from him and we don’t know if he even finished the job), Sons of Wotan (able to instakill player who beat calvus and is about to awaken)

Calvus Level - Prime Argos, Calvus, Beringer (just because he’s half dead when we meet him doesn’t change the fact that they sent Argos, Elius, and a small army to fight him and they still needed to use a devourer), The Myriad Dude (a curse is a curse. He’s been able to protect this floating bookstore long enough to know Warren since he was a human and he can clearly kill any intruders. That being said, he can’t move and there are some pretty destructive curse users out there)

Competent lv50-125 - Neviro (managed to bust into the mines), Redwake Warriors (clearly capable of hunting lots of sharks), Winterveil Mages (they were supposed to be at the minimum better than journeyman assassins or they ain’t “skilled”)

Fodder lv1-50 - Kjartan (knows how to fight but has no style or rare moves), Tilly Kidnappers (armed thugs, comperable to existing bandits)

Woah woha, why is Wotan in the ‘Mid above Calvus’ tier? Warren himself admits that he can’t beat him, and their fights end well for neither of them.

I must’ve missed that part. Haven’t beaten the game in months. fixed it

Julian is confirmed to be stronger then Calvus I think somewhere, but my memory fails me

Another fight we will never see :pensive:

i like this, i’d say pretty accurate to what i think too currently

Julius is not weaker than calvus lmao, if the player had to fight them we would’ve been whooped.

by “lower above calvus” i meant that he’s part of a section of characters above calvus, but the weakest tier of the people above calvus (one tier above)

maybe this couldve been worded better

Vetex said in dis that in term of pure power alone at least, Julian is miles stronger than Cal

curse users are just built different, if Morden wasnt there we would have all died

they needed the devourer to take his curse, weak as it might be, its still a curse and they aint gonna just let it go when they can take it

no comment on his strength tho since theres too little evident about it ( just because a small army was sent after him doesnt mean he fought the entire small army, could just be they want to be sure they arent weaker than him )

pretty sure that guy been around since Theos time and is strong strong, considering he crossed the dark sea into the war sea from seven seas

he isnt bounded to the tree and can move anytime he wants, he just choose to do the former

also didnt Warren said he wouldnt want to fight him? ig Warren would most certainly win ( basic Pokemon logic ), its just that the cost will be too great ( either for him or the surrounding ig )

I thought that the reason why Warren can’t fight Wotan is due to politics. He doesn’t want to risk anyone starting a war against Azura. I could be wrong but I think that’s what he says

Yeah, but he also says their previous clashes have not ended well for either of them. I’d assume wotan and warren are on equal footing. If warren was too strong, wotan wouldnt be trying to invade any territory against warrens word, and if warren was too weak, he’d be dead.

Woten sounds like Walter White’s long lost brother.

Sounds like Admiral Kizaru from One Piece

The problem is that randal probably knows whether he can beat warren or not. He’s not afraid to admit people are stronger than himself (like theos), and he seems to know a lot about a lot of people (based on AA books), with a special attention on strong people, but here he implies that he would beat ren and the player in a fight

Immediately after saying that he kills anyone who enters with malicious intent, he says that warren and the player are lucky that he recognized their good intentions. If he had just said “luckily” then you would assume that it’s lucky in general that things happened this way, but instead, he specifies ‘Luckily for you and “Ren”’, not including himself. He’s implying that if they fought, there would be consequences for Ren and the player, but not himself (ie he would win)
