Predictions on Sameria

I’ve had small talks about this, and now I’m gonna start an actual discussion about it.

Will Sameria turn on us later?

From a dialogue (that I forgor who said it), Ravenna will help Sameria out. What are the chances of Prince Revon/General Julian recognizing us and painting us to Empress Nilah as the bad guys (to be fair, we did kill Calvus and thus destroyed the Keraxe-Sameria pact)?

Also, the raidable fort of the Nimbus Sea belongs to Sameria. We know that Ravenna is our enemy, hence Fort Castrum being the raidable fort of the Bronze Sea. We can’t be allies with Sameria forever when they are shown to own the raidable fort in Nimbus, right?

I think nilah is reasonable enough to hear us out if she found out we killed calvus tbh

If we told her about the order and all the bad things calvus was up to she would probably be fine

From what I remember fort raids aren’t canon. Anyways, I think Empress Nilah would let us hear our case but her relations with us would definitely sour since we are the reason the treaty faltered

The raidable fort thing is more than likely not cannon. MC is probably not raiding Sameria’s fort. Anyways I think it’s a bit of a mixed bag and kinda depends on how public the secret becomes. Nilah seems reasonable, but it’s hard to tell for certain how she would react. Sure she might be willing to hear the mc out, but the order is nearly completely unknown and most of those who do know it think it went extinct a long time ago. So MC might have to put some effort in to get Nilah to believe why they had to kill Calvus. That’s not mentioning how knowing MC caused the suffering and death of hundreds of her people might affect her judgement. MC has been a very valuable asset though, so that could help things a bit. Regardless the relationship is probably going to be near permanently soured even if she doesn’t turn against MC.

On the other hand if the greater Samerian population finds out then MC might not have a choice but to leave regardless of whether or not Nilah forgives them. I can’t imagine many of the citizens, especially the Rosehenge and Mistral refugees, wouldn’t hate them. MC, Iris, and Morden might just be run out of country anyways even if the they’re chill with the government. At that point they’ll probably will still be helping Sameria, but it’d have to be either on their own seperate from Sameria’s operations, or they’ll have to get their orders in secret. Either way they won’t have anywhere with civilization to go back to for a bit.

I have no idea how the generals would react. Probably not kindly even if Nilah takes MC’s side. If Hassan really is an order member then he’s probably going to take advantage and stir things against MC’s gang even more since at that point he’d know for sure that that MC was responsible for killing one of his fellow order members, if he wasn’t already.

I guess personally my prediction is that Nilah will at the very least reluctantly forgive the MC and the generals will have to follow her lead, but expect tomatoes to be thrown at the MC whenever they walk through town or the refugee camps if the rest of the public finds out.

Revon has been missing ever since we beat him apparently, he’s likely off on his own in search of power. Julian is unaware of the Order, since he says that he ‘doesn’t know what our goal is’, meaning he probably just thinks we’re some kind of maniacs that want to destroy everything. I think if Neviro has been successful then Julian would probably chill out a bit, his loyalty is to Ravenna, not the Order.

>Fucked up lvl 10 grunt pirates that could’ve been fucked up by anyone remotely competent

>Came just in time to save 3 random dudes and fight 3 vikings in already razed port Mistral

>Failed to get any actual help from Skyhall save for a thimble worth of soldiers who’d melt like the Wicked Witch of the east if they touched seawater and 2 mediocre mages

>Killed a crackhead commanding a ship who could’ve been killed by at least 2 other people in the group

People who were too busy fighting the other combatants on the ship and would’ve taken too much time if they had to fight Ivar too and the whole thing would then be fucked.

Forces that were instrumental in making sure the attack on the Fenrir could be completed in time.

If we hadn’t locked in on Forest Of Masts then Sameria would have never known that pirates are harpooning any ships that attempt to cross into Nimbus from The Bronze Sea.

Nothing to say here

Got reinforcements that were, acording to the queen, neccesarry to carry out a siege on the biggest threat in the sea at that time.

Willingly jumped into an actual suicide mission where only so few people actually participated and defeated an entire castellan all by himself.

I think Vetex said once that Raids have no impact on the story so this is (probably) irrelevant.

One thing people disregard is the fact that Morden is a curse user. He’s inexperienced and not willing to kill, sure, but except for Nilah who asked, and Akeem who has his own Curse, everyone was shocked by the revelation that Morden specifically has the Death Curse. (Which tells us, if the name wasn’t enough of an indicator, that this Curse is probably one of the strongest. I mean Morden did defeat General Julian despite having almost no experience).

With this in mind, Sameria would certainly NOT turn against us. Morden will act as deterrence for us and if Ravenna and/or Sameria is stupid enough to actually try and take us out immediately, not only would they lose valuable assets against Keraxe (A Curse User, a Lost Magic User and the MC who Nilah knows has something unique), but they would also risk mutually assured destruction in Sameria resulting in thousands of its people being killed, regardless if the main cast is much weaker than Akeem and Nilah.

So all in all, whether or not we’ll be painted as the villains, it won’t really affect the war. At worst, the main cast would be kicked out of Sameria after the war is settled.

Breaking: obese man wins marathon race against person with no lower body

It was a draw, Morden couldn’t walk afterwards and was out cold for like a week, and he said that Julian was still alive. Death curse carried him. No Julian slander

No Morden slander: :cross_mark:

No Julian slander: :cross_mark:

Both of them are utter indescribable bums: :check_mark:

I clicked on this topic expecting an old-ass topic about what Sameria would look like that got necrobumped lol

good topic tho :fr:

My bad. I had to

Yeah I know Julian is alive which is why I said defeat and not kill. I’d say its a win for Morden though since Julian’s job was to take out Morden and stop us from killing Calvus and Morden successfully stopped Julian despite the much bigger experience difference.

without us empress nilah would have had no warning of the incoming keraxe invasion and likely wouldnt have been able to put up defenses in time

its possible the keraxe could have already invaded sameria itself without us

I mean, strictly in terms of their 1v1 it was a draw, they both fought until neither of them could continue. If not for Iris saving him and carrying him away, he’d have been captured by Ravenna and killed with a devourer.

Well, Prince Revon has escaped Ravenna (in game NPC dialogue), and we don’t know anything about General Julian, what we do know is that Neviro is in Ravenna trying to portray the real picture to the ravennians so that we can visit Ravenna safely again.

Even so, Nilah would probably understand, given we aren’t just some random helpers but we are a group made of a curse user, a lost magic user, and the most powerful will of all legacies.

Also, if we were to explain what happened, it’s very hard to mention anything about the order, since if there are people who are in the order (Which it is highly possible to find at least one in Sameria, my bets on Hassan), and they were to hear that there’s a group of people trying to take them down, we would get targetted without a doubt.

i predict nilah is gonna get murked by jarson
