Pretty much every possible secret commodore Kai could be holding

I can’t find the dialogue from the sponsor NPC so ig I’m tripping

but the sponsors talk about them as “Navy Dogs”, so it seems their alliances with the navy are kept secret even for the Assassins

Yeah, seems like relationships are strained. Like, they would cooperate, but only on dire situations maybe

Imo it’s prob dire situations for the Navy, I don’t think the Assassin Syndicate ever asked for the Navy’s help, only the other way around, like, what would they need to Navy to help them with?

“We want them dead, you want them dead, so just take the galleons and never speak of this interaction.”

Very unlikely, tbh. If you ask Morden “Where are we?” during the first cutscene, he says that he doesn’t know where you are, just that it’s in the Bronze Sea, and therefore very far away from where the experiments were being done. It’s entirely possible it was somehow a multi-sea journey in a rowboat (or larger boat; the rowboats being dinghies from it that survived a possible chase) considering this piece of dialogue.

Otherwise, great points. Kai may be an Officer or Initiate.

Did you know Kai appreance is refference to Dracule Mihawk?

Proof

Revolutionists? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

They do be having a goate

I mean, if you’re going to have a secretive alliance to get what you want with a group of known criminals while you are supposedly a group that enforces the law, you would probably fire at said group of known criminal’s ships when you see them to keep up your public image and to not reveal you are in an alliance with em.

Thats why they miss…

Here

I assumed the same thing at first too, but here’s the problem:

All the other kingdoms are SOUTH of the Bronze Sea

The guy at Cerunno who gives you thr side quest reveals that all the other kingdoms and other six seas in the War Seas are actually south of the Bronze Sea, implying that the seas are positioned linearly from top to bottom.

This means that the experimentation facility could not be in located in the other seas, it has to be in the Bronze Sea itself. When Morden and MC escaped, they were at the very most northern part of the Bronze Sea, and pretty much at the most northern part of the entire War Seas. Tbh, thats the perfect location to set up a hidden experimentation facility, cut off from the rest of the War Seas itself.

Though, now that you mention it, that statement could imply that Morden and MC were respectively taken from their homes somwhere in the other seas and got taken to the Bronze Sea where the experimentation facility was at.

Couple of points that I see being a huge issue.

One if they’re in the Bronze Sea where in the Bronze Sea. I see no place where the Order could have experimented on us.

Number #2, I highly doubt that the experimenting facility is in the centurion area where we were locked out because of how small it is.

Three, how would we have gotten away if we had the sea? Plus how does tucker play into it? It’s heavily implied we did a jail break but other than Silverhold where else would we have been experimented on?

Plus I highly doubt that someone in the Navy wouldn’t have found out and whistleblowed about the experimentation.

I was wondering if in the future we will be odds with the Navy. If they are part of the Order somehow they would definitely use some of their resources against us, as to the public we are homicidal maniacs.

if I had to guess for this, the place where we’re kept is probably Fort Castrum which I’m guessing it’s positioned in the empty area northwest(?) of frostmill or the south bronze sea. Would explain why it seems like there isn’t area for the order’s experiments right now.

Trying to figure out what you mean by the first 2 sentences, but for the last one, yet again Fort Castrum

the navy is almost certainly under control of the order. The high ranks are probably just not telling the low ranks shit and the high ranks also probably murder those who find out or just get the assassins on em. (imo, Edward being forced to obliterate that one town is probably some attempt from the order to cover their tracks)

Hmmm… well… yes but why hasn’t Vetex added Fort Castrum then?
