You know how Vetex made that stupid 5 minute redock cooldown?
Well, it makes updating your deckhand appearances quite the hassle. Thankfully, I found a sort of bypass for that. Let me explain:
- Firstly, dock your ship. Talk to the deckhand you wish to change the style for.
- Then select the style.
- Open your shipyard UI and look at the deckhand. I recommend reopening a few times to see different variants of the outfit. The preview also includes any accessories you give to them.
- If you don’t like it, switch the style again.
Pros of this method: No redock necessary, the icons auto update when you swap the style, and it allows you to repeatedly test appearance variants for the style.
Cons: The deckhand’s outfit color is wrong, the icons are miniscule, and anything past the shoulders is cut off.
