Prism's Unfinished Stuffs

I rarely like posts, you’ve clearly piqued me

dont worry hes fine, just a minor heart failure

Roblox studio is giving me trouble on my old laptop so I’ve been working on models. Currently not textured since dealing with more than 10 UVs is beyond me at the moment.

I also isolated the necklace portion of Eagle Patrimony for use in the first model. If anyone wants that for their own purposes, let me know and I can set up a drive.

New previews! Im posting them now largely because want opinions, especially the second one. Its supposed to replicate an explosion magic effect, abet using out-of-engine tools. Might have overdone it or underdone it, not sure.

No established date for the full project post. Classes are starting up, so progress may or may not slow.

Fancy meters. No lame, vague meters allowed.
(There will be a lame vague meter later but shhhh)

Progress slowdown confirmed, but heres another update.
Dreading having to do mockups for Radius and Impact Fist but I have at two more styles to distract me before those.

New mockups, one for Radius Fist and an unfinished one for Grasp of Gaia.

I’m probably going to post the final project in suggestions since there really isn’t an off-topic or art area for this sort of thing in particular. I’ve got the submission access request in the mail, so to speak. Not what I preferred since this is far more ‘what could be’ rather than ‘what should be’ but what can you do.

how about just using materials and geo nodes instead?

I figured that a bunch of parts would look more game-accurate than roblox’s terrain. The block-cartoon style of AO’s characters, terrain, & effects doesn’t mesh to well with the polygonal detail of studio terrain, at least when the latter is used beyond a flat waterbed or something similar.

Parts are easier to clean up if I want to move/edit it for other shots, as well.

EDIT: should’ve read what this was replying to, sorry about that.
Haven’t messed with geo nodes all too much. Materials are fine for some objects (I used it in my very early staff of night, for example) but I find its quality to be limited.
Definitely looking into geo nodes though. Might be what I am looking for.

Still waiting on suggestion permissions. The writeup literally needs two more images. Here’s the third.
Mostly posting this to mention Powder Fist. It isn’t discouraging anything with the fighting style writeup. If it overlaps with anything, its impact fist, and even then, only elementally (though arguably both overlap with the pre-existing cannon fist as well.)
Really hyped to see the mechanics in action, cause the concept is cool. Firework fist sounds like something a redneck would try on fourth of july, and having it be used to proper effectiveness in a setting sounds hilarious and awesome.

EDIT: My internet isn’t liking my image upload. Hopefully I can get it up soon.

EDIT 2: Now its saying something about ‘not enough space on disk.’ I assume its something to do with the site’s storage. Hopefully time or admin action will fix it soon.

Hurrah! The issue has been fixed! Not sure exactly when or how, but hey, its here now.
Downside is, things happened. I don’t have too much work left to do on the writeup, but my free time is now much more limited for the foreseeable future, so who knows when it will happen.
