Howdy all. School ends for me this Friday, and I wanted to start the summer off with a bang. So, I decided to do something a bit special.
On June 8th, somewhere around 4:00 PM EST (depending on when the update releases), I’ll be opening a multiplayer survival server to the public, coinciding with the release of Minecraft version 1.17: Caves and Cliffs, Part I. We’ve already hit 30 members in the server’s Discord, with more to come from other invitations, as well as this post (hopefully).
The realm will be hosted on the Java edition of Minecraft. PvP and griefing are allowed, so make sure that you come prepared.
Hacking through the use of a modified client such as Wurst or Impact will result in an instantaneous permanent ban from the server, with no appeals.
Using or being involved in any duplication glitches will result in an instantaneous permanent ban from the server, with the opportunity to appeal.
The use of modifications that provide an unfair advantage, such as X-ray, will result in a temporary ban and a full inventory and ender chest wipe, without warning. However, quality of life modifications, such as FullBright or OptiFine, are allowed.
In-game events will be frequently hosted, encouraging players to meet at certain locations, rather than run away and play single-player for the rest of their stay on the server.
We’re still nailing down our rules, so punishments are still subject to change.
Feel free to swing by and check things out if you’re interested! Have a great day.
