Project Bloxia

For the past few months, I have been learning how to program on Roblox, and now I think that I’m proficient enough to start making games with it. I’ve decided to make a turn-based strategy game, since I just really enjoy those types of games (yall should play Fire Emblem it’s great ).

Anyways, here’s a screenshot on the current state of the game:

It’s only a board right now, but I am planning on expanding it a lot more. I guess I should make devlogs to document its progress as well, who knows.

Now here are the steps

Step 1:Put Iris as the red

Step 2:Put Morden as the blue

Step 3:Make an animation where Morden beats up Iris if Blue wins and make Iris take Morden back to Ravenna if Red wins

Step 4:You are done enjoy!

Do you have any clue on how the game is gonna play? I’m curious. :mariomug:

Probably like Fire Emblem, although I am planning for most of the characters you can control to be randomly generated (kinda like World of Magic’s npcs).

uh oh.

I guess if we’re going the chess route here’s my idea of what the different characters would be:

Bronze Legion
King Calvus: Queen
Revon: King
Elius and Carina: Bishops
Dame and Tullus: Knights
Julian and Argos: Rooks
Rand-gen bronze legion grunts: Pawns

Main Gang
Iris: Queen
Morden: King
Neviro and Enizor: Bishop
Tilly and Shura: Knight
Warren and Edward: Rook
Rand-gen players/crew: Pawn

Ooh, a chess route seems fun. While I’m not the best at chess I definitely know how to play it. Keep me updated when you have some of the models! :eyes:

About a year of casual Java programming, and the aforementioned couple months of learning Roblox Lua. That’s about it though.
