You probably saw my series with the community suggesting lost and ancient spells and techniques, and also theorizing lost and ancient magics that might come in the future. Well, I wanna see what the community’s idea of absolutely broken is. Just suggest the most overpowered thing you can think of, this isn’t meant to be taken extremely seriously. You can make a serious but OP suggestion if you want though.
balance team magic
nerfs anything within a 500 stud radius to the point of it becoming unusuable
Custom Weapon: Keitana (Keiko + Katana
)
Innate Status: Severe Bleeding
1st skill - Unsheathe: A really fast high damage sword draw: flash strike with a much longer range.
2nd skill - Atomic Cut: Flying slash that can’t be blocked or parried, instantly breaks all armor on hit (Like Dragons)
3rd skill - Unrelenting Slashes: Wide AOE of Slashes, basically like Sukuna’s Domain
4th skill - Lightspeed Reaction: Gives me Iframes but rather than saying “immune” like the bosses that have iframes, it instead plays a parrying sound and parries every attack (still iframes). No cooldown, toggleable.
5th skill (Ultimate) - Disrespect: Wide AOE insta-kill move where my eyes flash like Shura’s and then I behead everyone in the aoe (Inspired by Maestro’s move from deepwoken)
Custom Magic: Tempestuous Storm
Mutation of storm magic, would be able to summon actual hurricanes and tornadoes, would instantly paralyze on every hit (My spells would be dark clouds with lightning surging through them, and only create hurricanes/tornadoes in response to environment with pillar explosions)
Custom fighting style would be lame and custom relic is too much work since its basically the freedom of a magic with the restriction of a weapon (too lazy to make one)
Why this kinda accurate to what goes on though-
Spell: Ascension
Upon taking lethal damage, instead of dying, you will re-awaken as an extremely strong form of your choice, with the default being a massive aura colored to your magic, while your character faintly glows that color. In this state, you will be able to float freely and your overall stats are buffed extremely.
ok being real i’d probably make some really cool magic greatsword like dark souls’ moonlight greatsword and it would be exclusive for conjurers and savants
tempest blade that would be a hidden mystic spirit weapon in rainspire that belonged to the queen or wtv long ago and would have been imbued with the storm curse
this sounds cool, but wouldnt it just be a unique arcanium weapon (like ruined fulmenor and triasta of bronze) rather than a relic
I’d personally love to have a magic sword that has two edges, kinda like a roblox saber, with a slot in the middle for magic abilities. Don’t think I described it too well but that would be peak.
Crystal magebane blade
could be used like any normal sword weapon but an increased damage/speed affinity, but has 1 unique skill, if you are hit by any magic attack, it would deal 0 damage and you can then release the enemies spell by using the ability a 2nd time
While storing a spell the blade would visually shift according to the type of magic that is being contained.
basically just the anti mage sword, + if 2 ppl both have the sword they could attempt tennis or smth by passing a stolen spell between eachother
slash magic
Spirit Absorb: Go into a shielding stance for 5 seconds after a 0.66s windup, in which damage taken is completely nullified and instead converted (to 50% efficiency) into overhealth (akin to Saturation). Ultimate Art increases windup and duration by 50%, and has a 75% efficiency instead of 50% for overhealth.
Having no attacks land or being hit in the windup causes you to be stunned for an additional 2.5s, in which the first attack that hits you is Critical.
You cannot regenerate while in the shielding stance, unless an attack hits your stance. When the stance ends after having been hit, gain 1s of I-frames and a boosted dash distance.
Maximum of 25% of your total HP as overheal per usage, 40% with Ultimate Art.
Cooldown of 75s, 100s with Ultimate Art.
on average, you’d probably get 10% of your max hp as overhealth from a normal absorb and 15-20% of your max hp as overhealth from an ult art absorb (as people will try to punish the windup but not do so in time, the windup is purely to prevent react absorbing)
shatter will be an overpowered magic, as conceptually it is pretty busted.
shatter has a clash advantage when higher leveled than the target, neutral at same level, and disadvantage at lower leveled. this, paired with how shatter is generally lumped into the hard-hitting, cataclysmic magics, i see it having a large base damage affinity with either severebleed or bruised
mages try not to have a power fantasy challenge

the blunt force trauma effect on a magic said to shatter anything it comes into contact with

my broken ability suggestion is a universal ability usable by any class, upon pressing the keybind it immediately checks if any player or npc is using Shadow magic or Shadow magic related weapons, fighting styles, relics, or mutations (so yes stuff like Vanishing, Staff of Night, and Darkness) and instantly removes their HumanoidRootPart if they are
if you cant tell I hate shadow users.
tbf the staff of night is nowhere close to shadow, same for vanishing
staff of night has shadow affinities, vanishing is basically shadow magic as a fighting style
close enough for me.
this sounds pretty abusable in pve but honestly pretty neat
makes actual use of saturation since it’s barely ever seen in-game
not really but pop off i guess
pve should make the player feel stronger than pvp imo
