What does this purple marker indicate?

I don’t remember seeing that before, so you have any side quests?
It’s not a side quest and it doesn’t appear on the map
Purple tends to be associated with insanity, afaik
did you go somewhere with insanity effects and die, maybe? It leaves effects on your screen if you die while they’re active
(My reasoning being that if insanity messes with your UI in the form of messages, why not this as well)
Tbf, I did die in a PREVIOUS server in the Dark Sea, and now it seems to be sort of close to that area
The same thing happened to me after I got flung into the dark sea, I think it’s just linked to insanity lvl 5 or maybe ya future update
ohh that marker can sometimes appear when you have insanity 2 or higher, I believe.
It just keeps displaying the same distance and it doesn’t disappear even if you reset.
It’s one of the Insanity effects. Sometimes it’ll cause fake quest markers to appear. I don’t know why it doesn’t go away after your Insanity wears off, though.
