Yeah no, this is a horrible change for several reasons. Even worse than the agility being planned to be removed. (This doesnt affect me anyways, i dont use agility)

This is just one of many i could mention, but most ingame players renown are LESS THAN 10K, despite being max level. which isnt the problem really, its the limit vetex is planning. Its an issue since most players didnt decide which side do they want to take, positive or negative renown, and they could still be hunted on the bounty board for those that did decide which side they take, and get a quite high amount of bonus renown for it.
I would suggest instead of 300k to make it 10k renown, since by that point, a player has already put dedication and effort into which side do they plan to take. By making it 300k it would basically become that you can only hunt leaderboard players. Who dont even really play the game anymore.
Vetex and the anti-pvpers can cry if they get hunted. I mean, vetex literally made a custom magic just cuz hes bad at pvp. (Yes, im speaking of Cataclysm)

As for low level players that just want to progress, they have safety until level 50 anyways, do they really need a pvp on/off button on top of level protection?
Look im not even talking about immersion. I dont really care how immersive the game is, since no matter what this game cant get immersive enough on the platform of roblox, it would need to become an induvidual game outside of the limits of roblox for that. (Not to mention the dark sea is pure hell, and grand navy ships spawning on my ass is even less immersive. I wont even talk about data leaks that ruin every bit of immersion the game could have, because hes too lazy to fix it.)
The point i am trying to make is, this would COMPLETELY ruin the combat of AO, and so would PvE clans.
Neither does agility need to be removed, neither does PvP toggle need to be added.
Nerf the damn agility scaling like attack speed got nerfed, ffs.
Vetex said there will always be people that complain, well DAMN RIGHT i will complain about something that would just demolish the core gameplay of arcane odyssey, and its progression. This game isnt about being peaceful.
I cannot express in words how stupid this decision would be. Yeah sure, i gave like 2 reasons why this would be bad. But thats plenty enough from me. Hear other people how this would ruin the game if im not enough.

AO was never meant to be a competitive clan game.
It was always meant to be a story heavy/PvE heavy exploration game.
PvP was always an afterthought, and its taken way too much of a hold over the game than it ever should have.

Im not ganking level 70’s, i infact accept pvp duels at munera from max level players from all classes.
Dude, I literally get 10k renown from dueling and saving castaways, just keep it at 300K and teleport players with PvP ON to PvP servers. There you’ll likely find other PvP players looking to hunt + looking for lots of renown and boom. Simple. No need for this MASSIVE (key word Massive) rant
i never thought a pvp toggle would happen until now, ofc it’s possible it might be changed and not as good as it turns out to be

you realise this is a toggle and not an increase to the minimum pvp requirements right? The only people who wont have it on are pve’ers anyway, so if you are in a clan its not like youll be constantly encountering people you cant fight whenever you try to do pvp, or are you that cut up you cant gank 0 player kills level 60’s anymore? (this is a geniune question, im curious as to why you would hold this opinion)

Oh no, not at all. My point isnt even on the level 50 protection, i just wanted to include that. My point is on the limit, which as another person said, could be like 50k. It does seem more reasonable.
