New Quest Ideas:

Here are some quest ideas I made. These quests will introduce, use, and expand upon gameplay mechanics, such as weapon modification, underwater exploration, and potion brewing. I placed most of the quests in Sameria since the island currently lacks in that department despite its massive size.

Tutorial Quests:

Modifying Weapon Skillsets (Bronze Sea)

Level 25 Tutorial Quest
Difficulty: Easy
Length: Short

Description Example:
"Go to a blacksmith and interact with them. Then, select a weapon, such as a greataxe or a greatsword , from your inventory and disarm it. Disarming a weapon will remove all its skills, converting them into skill notes in your inventory. Selecting a skill note in your inventory will allow you to add it to other compatible weapons as long as they have available skill slots . The number of skills a weapon can have is determined by its quality , with old-quality weapons having a maximum of 2 skill slots while good-quality weapons have up to 5. Some more powerful weapons even have unique skills . Another thing to note is that some weapon skills have different attributes depending on the weapon used. For example, you can put the skill Sword Draw: Flash Strike on a dagger , but it will have less AoE and be faster."

Quest Objective:
Disarm a weapon at a blacksmith. → Use a skill note on a compatible weapon with available slots.

Rewards:

  • ~400 XP
  • ~100 Galleons
  • 2 Old Weapons (given to you at the beginning of the quest)

Very good, very good, but my ass ain’t going to the Dark Sea just to complete a quest

all of them are 100% good and well thought out except I don’t really think bleeding one is necessary

Yeah I thought that was a little weird, who needs a bleeding potion to take down a target? Maybe a poison potion as a reference to generic non-violent assassinations.

Also, why would Samerican Ice be made with amphibious blooms?

bingida boomity bop

ya I think that one should be deleted/changed too

I don’t think vetex wants people to make it, but who knows (not me)

Hell yeah

Maybe the contractor has beef with the target and wants them to die in a gruelsome way

Also according to lore, samerian ice is made with amphibious blooms

I like this a lot.
these quests would allow new players to get more familiarized with the game, while also giving the less knowledgable, but more experienced, players more insight on certain aspects of this game (i.e. brewing and jewelcrafting).
As for the completionists that’ll have to do more quests (me being one of them), we’ve already put hundreds of hours into this game, so a few extra doesn’t matter.
Though if i have to point out one issue i have with these quests would be the galleons gained from them; specifically ‘A long journey’ as the amount of galleons gained from this quest seems inadequate, so i would like to see it bumped up to somewhere between 280-330.

Otherwise I have to say that this is an amazing proposal and would like to see this implemented in the game

I like this but I don’t think Vetex would add in the Dark Sea ones even if they’d really help new players

Quest Suggestion: “The Call of the Depths”

Description:
A new NPC should be added to Claw Island, gazing towards the horizon of the Dark Sea. This NPC is filled with an overwhelming urge to explore the mysterious depths. When you speak to him, he shares his longing to venture into the unknown and reveals that the depths are calling him. You mention that you’ve already been there, and he asks to accompany you on your next journey.

Objective:

  • Defeat an Atlantean and obtain its essence.
  • Return alive to the Nimbus Sea with the Atlantean Essence.

Reward:

  • A new spirit weapon (or an item of similar significance).

For real

there is already a quest that in the bronze sea already that is going to be a pain having to go the bronze and back the nimbus sea redwake is to far away to go to

that’s why they called it a sidequest, becuause you don’t have to do it.

maybe some spirit weapon blessed by hermes since he was the god of exploration? it could be a traveler’s walking stick perhaps, a type of staff

In the game, you can throw Bleed Potions into the sea to summon sharks, with higher tiers having increased chances of spawning rarer variants, including sea monsters.
During the quest, Jane will mention to you this fact, saying that she will kill her target by attracting a sh*t load of sharks to his location, killing him brutally without too much suspicion from the authorities (lets just say that Jane is a very elaborate and overcomplicating planner).
I just wanted a way for players to learn about this fun little mechanic lol.
