is straight up a robot. There ain’t no denying it. Not only that but its capable of fighting in ways no real animatronic can really achieve as of right now.
So my question is, does this robot make demon slayer technically a sci-fi-fantasy?
Dawg it can move its own using mechanical parts, it being considered a doll as well does not mean its not a robot. Like it follows the definition of a robot pretty much to a T
Its an anime about some mfs fighting nearly unkillable enemies using godly type shi techniques.
Why are you surprised if a puppet can act like its alive
I’m not, I don’t where you got the idea that I was “surprised”. I’m just asking a funny little question if demon slayer technically counts as sci-fi-fantasy because of the very clear robot right there. Its literally called a mechanical doll, which is a robot, in the manga too. It ain’t just a puppet that just somehow acts like its alive.
That’s fair. If you really wanted to stretch it the drug that made Muzan a demon could be considered sci-fi, but it could just as easily, if not way more easily be considered a magic potion type of deal so I wouldn’t count that.
I don’t really get what you’re trying to say here. Something in a universe being from a more advanced time or straight up science fiction doesn’t mean that the rest of the world’s technology must be on the same level or it has to be set in the year that thing was created or existed in.
yeah an ancient automaton in the dark sea that, when interacted with, will judge you, if you are deemed worthy it shows a pile of treasure possibly including unique reagents, and if you are deemed unworthy it releases ravenous atlantean dogs that attack you
