Question about magical and fs progression

I’m just wondering but is it just me or does magical and fs progression seem a bit slow because you got your base magic at the start and after some stretch investment you got a base fs and eventually one can get a lost and ancient magic and fs but here’s the thing that kind of bugging me lost magic and fs will be acquired at magic or strength 600 and ancient is 900

it just seems like it’s quite a long time before one can mutate their magic or evolve their fs I just feel like maybe something should happen around a stat investment of 300 I’ve had 3 thoughts on this

A kind of middle stage between mutatin/evolving from a base magic to a lost

Just a simple stat increase for the base

Make lost magic and fs require 300 ancient at 600 and there will be a new mutation/evolution for the ancients at 900 for the pure builds (keep in mind this most likely is my Savant bias talking so I can use a lost magic as a Savant)
I recently had a thought where it could be like they could combine a ancient power with a lost power together similar to what the custom magics are that’s what the new 900 thing would be
This would also mean
Mage and serker
New thing | ancient magic/fs | lost magic/fs
Hybrids
Ancient magic/fs | Lost magic/fs | Lost magic/fs
Savants
Lost magic and lost fs

Also I don’t know how this would effect spirit weapon and weapon users so keep that in mind
Can I please get some opinions on this
Savants please don’t be biased

Yes make lost require 300 investment. (I’m a very biased savant)

I should probably put down no savant opinions so there’s no savant bias

I think this only applies to magic, because for strength you have loads of options that you can pick at any time. It’s not weapons, but it’s about as interchangeable as spirit.
For magic, you’re pretty much stuck. You get two more magics at a fair pace, but they’re all half-quality.

And if you ask me, yeah, 300 magic is way fairer for Losts. For one, when they are added, a mage COULD get it by level 150, but only if it’s easy.
And that means that when lost magics ARE added, then hybrids can use them, and mages can get two.

this is so fucking stupid, why would powerful magics be accessible during possibly not even half of the nimbus sea, right after we just awakened :sob:
this would make lost magics an ‘early’ game feature and that would be stupid

You don’t deserve the powerful magics anyway
