Judging from past updates, the more hype an update has, the worse the actual update ends up being, therefore, we need to post as much negative stuff about the empires update as possible to make sure it doesn’t wipe all our clan rep or something!
I’ll start: Clan building will totally ruin all non claiming clan interactions because everyone will just sit at their clans fortress all day.

Empires update will be just alright
EMPIRES UPDATE WILL HAVE ABSOLUTELY zero impact on my gameplay experience because I do not participate in clan activity.
(Actually it might because of all the other changes I think?)

what’s even being added other than clan building i haven’t been following updates - mostly bc i feel zero excitement for this update already
From what I know:
5 New armor sets (Which will still be worse than what we currently have)
1 New rare spell/technique (Only useable by pure’s once again)
Abyssal diving spots (Good luck doing these without a diving build)
1 New miniboss (The only appealing drop will be his greatsword)
And some islands

The real tragedy of this update is clan members will be in clan servers, so they can’t gank random level 50s without clans /j.
5 new armour sets that no one’s gonna use 
great, only useable by pure builds
i can’t wait for the monthly pure build meta till they inevitably get nerfed and never resurface ever again
so just regular ass diving spots except a bit deeper and even more harder to see?

Yep! At least they come with a higher chance at getting sunkens from chest (Also the new modifier but no one cares about that)
stay focused brother, it’s just a way to make you forget about the luck nerf and how the chance of a sunken would still be overall lower than pre luck nerf
Also somehow somethings gonna create the worst memory leak yet and ruin the game for a month before the balance patch
But yeah, this update is just going to be another nothing burger like the mistral update
ALSO building will be useless because it will take too many galleons and nobody wants taxes
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, building better not be strictly a clan thing.
We’ve already done the “useful tools locked behind PvP content” shtick once and absolutely everyone hated it.
Lets not do it again.
Oh it will 100% be locked to only guilds, that’s why vetex added the other stuff to the update
hybrid users complaining that they don’t get to be purebuild+ and instead have actual drawbacks to not fully investing
