I think the video explains my situation. PLEASE VETEX I NEED THISSSSS, this harvest island build has been in the works for like a month now, please oh great Vetex increase the wall limit by like 6 or something :sob::sob::folded_hands:

Yeah, I tried to make a wall around the entire island, and then died inside when I couldn’t.

Also, I don’t think you’re supposed to rate your own suggestion

oh my gosh nobody cares please stop posting this on every suggestion.
the only reason that rule exists at all is because like 3 people wouldn’t stop whining about it.

Well I’m sorry, but there’s a fine line between being proud of your work and actively upvoting it so it does better.

Ignoring this because ‘its not an issue’ is exactly how you let it snowball into a bigger problem.
God forbid people attempt to purge corruption.

what corruption, you’re making it sound like people rating their own suggestion does literally anything.
If vetex sees a suggestion he likes and wants to add, its not going to matter if it has 1 vote or 100.

all ya’ll do when you whine about this nothingburger of a “”““problem””“” is take focus away from what’s actually being suggested: Shut up about it!

People were talking about those in [high corruption country] putting prices ever so slightly higher than what they’re advertised as in that country. In response, others went ‘dude it’s not a big deal’.
That, is corruption. It’s the small things that add up over time which are the most annoying and ‘not worth it’ to take care of, while in reality they’re as much of a problem as anything else.

This is the exact same thing. Treating self upvoting as ‘oh it’s not a big deal’ is the exact same as letting them get away with it.

Why?

also a thing I want to add on, or, correct to be more accurate; this isn’t a matter of “please Vetex, I need this.”, it’s a matter of “please Vetex, WE need this.”, for the mental health and well being of my clan and other clan builders who may have had this issue.

I feel like the maximum wall limits for all claimable islands needs to be increased. With walls becoming passable after somebody takes down ten of them with their ship, there’s no reason to not allow for more of them anymore.

I find that the build limit makes island building really limiting sometimes, and forces a lot of builds to be pretty much the same thing. The only reason I ran out of walls to place is because I decided to make a slightly more complex structure compared to the usual harvest island builds, and the game punishes me for that.
