Random savant imbue question

Let’s say I have a stat distribution somewhat like this:

The 2nd awakening update rolls in, and now I have savant’s potent imbue abilities.

However, because I didn’t invest into any magic, will I not be able to imbue my weapons with magic?

Vice versa, if I’m a magic savant with NO vitality investment, will I still be able to imbue my weapons with spirit energy?

I feel like we’re entering gamebreaking territory here.

Yeah, in like 5 years from now

I can wait.

Gimme your headcannons on how the Patience soul died. : r/Undertale

Also for some reason this feels relevant too (I am biased)

very good question

ngl I feel like in the future this will surely be figured out

since, it seems weird for a mage to forget how to use their FS, but a savant with 3 stats in magic/weapons/vitality would theoretically still be able to use basic combat.

I wonder if going 3 stat might give like a tiny affinity buff as well??

Unless something changes, I’d assume that savants would still be able to imbue with magic or any unused stat. Reasoning for this is that currently, you can have zero points in vitality/magic, yet still use their respective magic dodges, and get the full damage out of the patrimony.

So unless the balance team screws us over, we’re good.

Absolutely infernal take, but this is one of those rare moments where I think not investing in a stat as a savant (3-way savs) have to lose out on the stat they didn’t invest in completely.

However, in exchange, they could get some kind of compensation, like a small scaling buff idk

It just makes individual savants feel more unique tbh.
