holy shit i’ve tried the elo system as a australian pvper and i got to say what the FUCK was that let me just start first it works completely fine but I picked a preferred region which is AUS because i am AUS and you know what they put me in? US, France and fucking GB or whatever it is.
I probably wont return to the elo system until I find a reason for this but every 1v1 i fought in elos I am always at 300+ ping and hitboxes were very jank. Thanks for listening to my rambling cya.
i imagine the issue is that it’s searching for the nearest/best possible match rather than only matching with aus servers. second issue would be that there’d be like 2 aus pvpers on matchmaking rn, which is kinda disappointing since im also aus, but maybe it’ll increase after people arent after only dragon hunting
that’s the thing
for 1v1 pvp, fighting styles are really good, but for anything else, they’re pretty underpowered, so balancing them properly is really difficult
yeah, especially the gun, like the moments i was clearly pointing at my opponent and the game said im aiming at said person, just to miss its crazy but at this point it doesn even hide it, 45 degree difference 3 times in a row
ive done a few matches, in my experience i get a decent amount of aus servers.
i think it might be dependent on like, what region the other guy is, and potentially how good your pc is? since you load in faster.
im saying that bc i tried doing it with my friend, region set in asia, (friend is using a laptop and im on pc), and we got only aus servers
also i genuinely got whiplash the first time i got into a match with how smooth the fps was
lmao yeah i have a love-hate relationship, its closer to pre reflexes, at least for me pvp used to he smooth or the lack of mobility (more bc we weren’t that aware of it) disguised the low fps but also it became such a more wildcard, either im gonna have fun or the meta builds become even more braindead
