Previously, I made some ideas for Rare Items, Weapons, Armors, and a Technique and a Spell. But I wanted to fix some things up, along with add some more.

First off, the hardest Rare Ideas to make; the spells and techniques. These need to be original, but make sense, and also give something that the class who uses it didn’t have before. So…

Rare Spell - Pierce - 160 Magic: Essentially the katana’s Flash Strike, involving the user teleporting forwards with an explosion of magic behind them. There would be two editable animations; one with the build-up to the teleport, and one post-teleport (like, maybe the user curls up before and expands their arms afterwards.)

I did this because I feel Magic users need more melee options. Yes, they could just be a Warlock, but uh… well, that’s lame. Also, the idea of someone teleporting and a mushroom cloud appearing behind them with sunglasses on is too good to pass up.

Rare Technique - Acrobatics - 160 Strength: A copied version of Beast Instinct, but with smaller AOE and probably stronger hits. The editable animations would be for the slight endlag, maybe ending with the character kneeling to represent them being tired, or striking a pose right after.

I imagine Acrobatics would actually be the user teleporting around the victim and punching them rapidly, rather than swiping their claws extremely quickly, hence the smaller AOE.

This, too, would likely be an editable animation. In Beast Instinct, the character disappears and reappears in a different spot, over and over until the move finishes and they’re in the center. However, I imagine that, whenever they reappear, they could have a different pose, like as if they’re mid-kick or mid-punch or whatever.

This is meant to give Strength Users a multi-hit move. Mages get so many moves that reapply status effects over and over again, such as Surge, Pulsar, Javelin, when all Berserkers get is, at best, Shot or Rushdown. I think this would be good, especially for say, Thermofist Users, who need to keep up their momentum, making a move with what’s essentially I-Frames really handy, especially one that reapplies burn.

Now for the easier segment in my opinion. I find it much easier to make Weapons and Armor, cause I’m not as restrained while making them. So… AHEM.

Frostguard Set -This set would give Agility, Attack Speed, likely in higher values than the Siren Set to compensate for it being harder to find. Additionally, it would likely be found rather rarely compared to other sets in Dark Sea Sealed Chests.-

(Accessory) Frostguard Helmet - A helmet covered in icy Arcanium. It seems to have been made by an ancient civilization, and was found from the Dark Sea.

(Accessory) Frostguard Anklet - An anklet made out of icy Arcanium. It seems to have been made by an ancient civilization, and was found from the Dark Sea.

(Armor) Frostguard Robes - A flowy set of blue robal wear laced with icy Arcanium. It seems to have been made by an ancient civilization, and was found from the Dark Sea.

(Pants) Frostguard Gown - A flowy, blue gown laced with icy Arcanium. It seems to have been made by an ancient civilization, and was found from the Dark Sea.

This set is inspired by Japanese Samurai Wear, and the helmet looks like that of a samurai’s. I imagine this “civilization” that I don’t have any lore for died out before the Dark Sea turned into… that, but the transformation of the robes and imbuement in ice was caused by the Dark Sea.
________________________________________________________________________________Starred Robes -This set would give very very high Agility, along with 1 Warding, similar to the Theurgist set. It can be found from Asteroids, whenever they’re added.-

(Accessory) Cosmic Bracelet - A shiny bracelet laced with shiny jewels, likely made by ancient civilizations to help honor the stars. It seems to be able to hold 3 Jewels at once.

(Armor) Starred Kimono Robe - A shiny kimono laced with shiny jewels, likely made by ancient civilizations to help honor the stars. It seems to be able to hold 3 Jewels at once.

(Pants) Starred Kimono Gown - A shiny gown laced with shiny jewels, likely made by ancient civilizations to help honor the stars. It seems to be able to hold 3 Jewels at once.

This set is, obviously, inspired by Japanese kimonos, along with summer festivals and, also obviously, asteroids. I imagine the colors would really pop, being in all sorts of blues and purples and pinks and reds.
________________________________________________________________________________Iron Bull -This set would give lots of Defense and Power, but also give Insanity 1 for each piece. It can likely be found in the Dark Sea’s chests at a rare percentage.-

(Accessory) Iron Horned Helmet - An iron helmet which seems to make all who wear it go on a frenzy. However, it grants extreme strength to all those who can surpass it’s power.

(Armor) Iron Leather Jacket - A leather jacket laced with pieces of iron, which seems to bring insanity to all those who wear it. However, it grants extreme strength to all those who can surpass it’s power.

(Pants) Iron-Toed Boots - A pair of heavy boots and pants that seem to bring crazed ideals to all who wield them. However, it grants extreme strength to all those who can surpass it’s power.

While I was making this, I was thinking “hey, what if Minotaur was more… modern?” And that’s this. Minotaur joined a biker gang and went crazy.
________________________________________________________________________________AND FINALLY, FOR MY FAVORITE BIT! THE WEAPONS! I will make 1 weapon per armor set.

Frostburn
A sharp, katana-like blade which seems to have rested in the Dark Sea, laced with icy Arcanium. It applies Freezing with every hit.

Weapons 100 - Seismic Flare - Stab the blade into the ground and whip it back out, causing a massive explosion of frosty air to surround you.

Weapons 130 - Glazed Drag - Stab the blade into the ground and drag it forward, causing an eruption of icy air to expel out from underneath.

Weapons 170 - Frosted Cycle - Works just like Shining Cycle.

Weapons 200 - Piercing Pummel - Grab the opponent by the throat and throw them to the ground. Repeatedly stab them before kicking them away.

Weapons 430 - Ultimate Art: Blizzard’s Inferno - Brandish the blade in front of you, and slash it forward, sending a massive, frosted Flying Slash that works similarly to Pulsar.
________________________________________________________________________________Hikari
A trio of daggers wielded like claws, often used for ritual of song and dance, but also rarely used in battle. Also make a nice fan. Seem to be laced in Light-imbued Arcanium.

Weapons 100 - Blindsight - A combo of three hops forwards, each having small hitboxes, and increasing in AOE with each landing, before slamming the claws into the ground for the final one. If done in the air, Light platforms will appear beneath you for the first 2 hops, before crashing downwards similar to Smash for the 3rd.

Weapons 130 - Song and Dance - Hop around in a small area, sending thin-yet-fast projectiles shooting outwards randomly.

Weapons 170 - Circle Throw - Grab the opponent, drag them across the ground, and then throw them far.

Weapons 200 - Strength of Will - Works like a stronger, faster Primal Swipe, with the “lore” being your will conjures up so much force a flying slash appears.

Weapons 430 - Ultimate Art: Sanzu-no-Kawa - Strike a pose before your eyes turn a bright color, and then do a combo of slashes – once upwards in a swiping motion, similar to Elius, before crashing back down in a massive explosion. Then, do a final dash forwards, similar to Flash Strike.
________________________________________________________________________________Gungnir
A long spear, with a spearhead at one end and an axe-like protrusion on another. Thought to be used by a ruthful force long ago.

Weapons 160 - Raging Bull - Basically just Crash, damage reduction and all.

Weapons 190 - Blunt Ends - Leap forwards with the spearhead end of the weapon. If the grab is successful, throw them to the ground and smash them with the axe end.

Weapons 230 - Yelping Sparrow - Fly upwards with the weapon, then come crashing down with an animation similar to Devastate.

Weapons 260 - Trickster’s Array - Summon a ton of mini-purple-yous and launch them forward, weapons in hand, spearhead forward, similar to a magic’s multi-blast.

Weapons 490 - Ultimate Art: Broken Oath - Spin the weapon around, dragging in nearby victims, before hurdling the spear end into the ground, causing heavy damage and knockback, but having major endlag as well.

================================================================================
And uh, I think that’s it. I like these a lot more than my previous ideas. Sorry if this is an eyesore to read.

Yeah okay bye. Lemme know if there’s anything I can work on.

(Trickster’s Array could probably be changed but it’s a nice Loki reference so I dunno.)

1 stars, not because it sucks, i am just not reading allat.

5 stars because the other reply was 1 star because they were lazy and this suggestion is good

“i don’t want to read a suggestion therefore it is bad”

The average first grader cant read 1452 words

mage users should not be given pierce, they do not need any more mobility, let alone a teleportation move (not to mention that they’re current back in the meta)

also i do not see the reason why acrobatics should be added, im not a fan of it. being a copy of another move should not be enough to justify it being added. if you want a multi hit you already have smash and selino and some other fs moves.

2 stars of reasonability particularly for weapons. no weapons have an entirely unique moveset, at best some have a unique ability no other weapon of that type has (sunken sword, triasta, vindicator)

too much unnecesary text makes a suggestion bad grahhhh

Very fair lmao. I was actually thinking of Selino when I made Acrobatics, but it just felt more… movement based to me? Like, my character moves quite a bit doing multiple hits before the crescent. Dunno could just be me.

The mage point is very fair, however.

Also fair.

I was trying real hard to come up with original movesets for each but just kinda couldn’t.

But honestly, it gives a whole perspective when you realize this is exactly what Vetex has to do, but 30 times over, making each original spell, technique, weapon, weapon skill, along with taking in the meta (primarily the balance team’s job but he does a bit) and trying to find workarounds.

It makes you realize how difficult his job is, and I think we need to commend him more for it.

I recommend trying to come up with weapons and their skills. Not usually very easy, but it’s still rather fun.

It’s well thought out. However, pierce would give mages too big of an advantage they already have surge for close quarters and that’s OP. They also have plenty of mobility. I’d also say acrobatics is a bit of a low-effort idea but that’s personal opinion.

Respectfully, I’m I think the Frostguard set sounds good stat wise, but not the description or appearance as samurai/japanese garb is overused.

Ron bull just sounds like a “better” version of Vat. This is based on the opinionated idea that insanity > drawback.

The weapons I think are fine. I do think the name Gungnir shouldn’t be used since it is the name of a legendary weapon (Odin’s spear).

Glad to see the Starred items have nothing against them. They were my favorite to make.

Yeah, I suppose the Iron Bull set is better than Vatra, but maybe to compensate, their values could be lower? So like, the Leather would give less Defense and Power than the Vatrachos Chestplate does? I dunno.

And as for the Frostguard Set; fair point. It definitely does seem overused. I just thought it’d be a fun idea to make regardless.

And as for Gungnir, I named it after Odin’s weapon because, since multiple religions have already been confirmed, I thought “why not an ancient civilization who believed in Norse mythos instead of Greek?”

i only read the first one cuz i aint reading all that, but the flash strike clone for magic is silly IMO. Mage is supposed to be a zoning class, where you jump around and discourage people whaling on you with big flashy melee moves. The way to develop mage further isn’t to just give them moves from other classes, it’s to improve their aerial denial, mobility and ranged attacks
