Never thought I’d ever use the Atlantean Essence, but here I am, considering it. I also have no clue on what I’m doing with Warrior.
from what I can see
defense is a bit low(try to go for 600-700 for non-vitality builds)
you could also do with some size(around 100)
Replace defense gem with that one that gives size and def
Ass
(Yes it’s a full sentence)
Get rid of the intensity
Get around 200-300 more defense
Get some attack size (around 30-50 is fine)
Replace the defense gems with agates
Hope that helps !
this gives u 1774 hp, with frozen modifier u get 1837 hp
if u have no problems to get adjusted to insanity 2, then u can run this, btw insanity 1 gives u 80 power, so even if u take one point down, ur still getting enough power
btw as i write this, i realize that i forgot to add any modifier to the ammulete, personally i would add frozen, but crystaline/sandy also work well, i dont think u need more power but if u want that juicy big number then sure
alternative u can be boring and run smt like this
this gives u 1874 hp
u can replace the sophragos hood with architect kalliste’s hood for more hp but less power (136 power), this gives u 1990 hp
Expensive builds tho
somewhat similar build if you don’t mind i2. Replace the sw chest piece with a cernyx one if you don’t want to spend 50 hours of your life grinding for it
Bro why the intensity
because it reduces cooldown + that’s what im assuming zormego wants
Not worth it
mind elaborating why? low invest intensity is good especially if you have long cooldown moves in your roster
It isn’t that efficient from what I’ve seen tho…
It’s better to aim for 800-1000 instead.
Do you not think it’s better to recommend what to replace in order to introduce size (if it’s even needed, which I doubt).
I haven’t seen it prove so useful on any weapon build.
Regardless, here’s my feedback on the build:
- Intensity isn’t needed - I don’t know what weapons you’re running but as I stated above, it doesn’t seem to be as useful on weapon builds (coming from the perspective of someone who plays Knight & Conjurer).
- Remove the Agility or Increase it - Low investment into a substat in most cases is rather useless (although we could make the argument for a small bit of size being efficient).
- Remove the Warding- You can play without it.
- More Defence - This has already been mentioned in the thread.
Here’s every build I could muster up, all of which are using Insanity 1 - some people in the thread need to keep their eyes open for details as such when suggesting a new build for someone who is trying Atlantean Essence for the first time, just because you can play with the insanity effects doesn’t mean everyone is used to it.
Most of the build titles in the summaries are going to be based off the improvements I gave, with 0 Warding and higher defence being given prerequisites. They’re also really rushed so if you have a direct improvement efficiency-wise just reply with it!
No Intensity & No Agility - 743.98EP (Budget)
NOTE: This is arguably the second worst build on the list EP-Wise, due to this, if you’re going to make a build consisting of only Power, Defence & Speed and nothing else, you will need Sunken Warrior items to make it worthwhile.
No Intensity - 791.16EP
NOTE: I’ve never found running agility of any value between 0 and the “High Agility” threshold (currently 225) useful whatsoever, so I wouldn’t recommend this.
