One of these surfaces about every year, so I think it’s time to update one for Sameria and make assumptions about future towns.
Redwake:
8/10
Redwake is fairly large compared to other areas in the game, and has an interactive community and mutual respect comparable to a Hispanic area. However, the lack of nature and the fact that the fishmonger (Redwake’s main source of food) is very far away.
Frostmill:
6/10
Frostmill has all of the downsides of Redwake, except it’s smaller, in a more harsh environment, and consistently ransacked by bandits (in the lore I guess).
Palo Town:
9/10
Palo Town is a manageably large town, with most shopkeepers being easy to locate. The Grand Navy keeps the town safe most of the time, and the climate there is pretty normal. There might be a small chance of the rock, which seems dirt-like and weak, to collapse near an important walkway. Overall colorful and cheerful vibes coming from the populace.
Cirrus Island:
7/10
Cirrus Island is hard to reach, so any lacking areas of the town would not be accessible in time (think hospitals). It would be easy to fall off the cliff edges to the water which would feel like concrete on impact from that high up. Populace is nice, and enterprisers are trying to take advantage of business opportunities (door to door salesmen). Could feel a little mundane and isolated.
Sailor’s Lodge:
4/10
The island has no real housing implements, and might be the closest to its cannon size ingame. It has a few merchants, and a bar to distract you from the fate that is living there without a ship. Job opportunities seem plenty, as mentioned by dialog.
Monoah Village:
8/10
Almost identical to Redwake, but without the nature issue. The brimming hunting industry, however, means your head could catch a stray arrow. Natives seem welcoming, and are likely to leave you be.
Rasna
7/10
A suprisingly ordinary town with central shopkeepers, the kindness of the Ravenna guards can be a gamble though. The recent death of the king might mean big things for the towns of Ravenna, and point tanks can be summarized with that.
Rubica
7/10
Wealthy people that expect you to follow every command, aqueducts that are moments from collapsing, unpleasant Ravenna guards, the only points it gets are the good protection and the abundance of shops.
Tiberia
4/10
Thieves, poor living conditions, and kidnapping spots, the only thing I’m using there is the docks. There are NO SHOPKEEPERS.
Masada
9/10
Masada is centered around food, and has multiple competing vendors. Buisness opportunities are decent, and the town is one of the few in Sameria that isn’t boiling hot.
Palo town is the highest ranked the navy is just that good
because there are no high ranking corrupt officials there just normal marines
tbh rosehenge is gonna get a 9.5 from my theory
Lemme give my own list:
Redwake: 6/10
Cozy little place with a cool culture but they are often attacked by pirates so it’s kinda dangerous
Frostmill: 3/10
Very cold and have both frost brigands and ice smugglers tormenting the town so it’s not very safe
Cirrus town: 7/10
Very safe and comfortable but I’m not a big fan of the idea of living so high up (I have fallen off many times)
Palo town: 10/10
Easily the most prosperous place to live in ao so far, wealthy and protected by the grand navy so it’s pretty much guaranteed safety
Sailors lodge: 4/10
Basically a tavern, decent for a short stay but wouldn’t wanna live here
Monoah Village: 6/10
Protected by Ravenna and have a cool culture, but also quite poor and tribal for my taste
Rasna and Rubica: 8/10
Rich and safe with a nice climate but it’s also Ravenna (they arrest people and send them to the mines for the slightest thing)
Tiberia: 0/10
Poor and neglected so defo not
Sameria towns (forgot their names) 7/10
Sameria is chill and seem pretty prosperous but it’s too hot and they are at war with town burning vikings so that’s scary
Port Mistral: 0/10
This list is providing players don’t come and wreck havoc every 5 minutes
wreak*
Ok yrni0 alt
I’m not, I swear.
Yeah you’re right
You’re not using enough over complicated words that are completely unnecessary
Post cant b mty
I wish I never said that because I’m always derailing and people keep bringing that up:wilted_flower:
I’m pretty sure that the government would do frequent maintenance on the richest city’s only water source
They have no respect to lose in Tiberia, but Rubica is right under their noses, the aqueducts are probably in a pristine condition
They’re moments from collapsing if I have anything to say about it.
anyways every place in the war seas sucks to live in because poison is a base magic and somebody’s gonna show up and turn your entire town into a giant cloud of death (possibly on fire too) and there is nothing you can do about it.
overcomplicated*
Erm, minor grammar mistake, your argument has been debunked
Palo town is where they hold executions, so it could be dangerous around those times.
shell island(monoah village) is the best
You forgot that Palo Town is where the Grand Navy holds executions in the Bronze Sea.
You get to watch executions i don’t see the problem
