Recent amulet changes

they’re fucking amulets that’s what they’re supposed to do

in fact good that means i dont have to spend my better years fishing for a fucking blue helmet

I can’t see why people are complaining about armor buffs, which in turn increase armor diversity. I really don’t think you guys want to have to grind a 1/2000 drop rate for EACH PIECE every time you want to make a new PvP build; you should be able to feasibly run other armor pieces without being at as much of a disadvantage, which is part of the idea of the amulet buffs.

das what im sayin :bangbang:

When the item that is designed to give a ton of one stat gives a ton of one stat

me who was already running a frozen armored fair defense amulet

if sunken rates are a problem for obtaining a maxxed build then instead of making a common item powercreep sunkens just make sunkens super easy to get lmao, why make them so rare and have items that outclass it? (sunken iron looks ass anyways not like anyone would want it for cosmetics either)

I like the new amulet change, it makes sense… But im worried how hard grinding for future amulets will be, considering modifiers exist…

Sunken remains the most efficient armor set in the game, and you can equip 3 sunken pieces while you can only equip one amulet. Besides, the amulet also needs to be modified to get efficiency on par with a Sunken accessory, and I think that’s okay conisdering that it is a similar case for Arcanium/Fighting/Vitality pieces (which also are on par with Sunkens with their accessories and boots, and are of similar rarity to amulets).

If you could equip 3 amulets, your argument would make a bit more sense since Sunkens are still a lot more rare than even modified Amulets. Still, there are only 2 unique (barely, both give Defense) sunken sets and 10 different amulet types, so amulets have a much greater influence on armor build diversity than Sunkens do.

Honestly, as for Sunkens’ rarity, they should probably be a bit more common (say, around 25% more common) given how much luck parties have influenced their rarity and value.

perry theplatypus???

you cant spell “balance team” without the “50 damage per proc 500 size poison build”

Metapoly, can you explain to me how your glorious balance team allows builds that can melt 2000 HP in 30 seconds?

It’s for the balance :100:

vetexs build can melt 3000 hp in 2 seconds

Can we please not turn this into a thread where we just spit issues on the game’s balance and meta is just defending himself? I’ve seen enough of these already please give him a break

I specifically said that by posting this I didn’t mean to paint guilt onto anyone who isn’t involved or the balance team

The sole reason this was posted was just to hammer in a realization of what this change means, because most people (including me lmao) didn’t really think 15% was much at first
