Recommended Stats for Ash Magic?

What’s an ideal equipment/stat set-up to use with Ash Magic at Level 80? I mean Power, Defense, Magic Size, etc.

Whatever you like, damage and magic size are good for ending fights fast while defense makes them longer.

ash is fairly average damage so you should go power/a little defense

Ash has literally the lowest damage of anything that isn’t Light or a DoT magic

Though like the others said, damage and defense are the best stats at the moment. Hard enchants on power gear is the best way to go.

That’s until I suggest hard enchants to get nerfed.

It’s been suggested - hasn’t picked up much traction so far. IIRC there was an identical suggestion before the fishing update which also didn’t pick up much traction.

Hard being too good isn’t what’s holding back the logarithmically scaled stats - if hard is yeeted, strong overtakes and we get a crappy glass cannon meta.
We need a better solution than logarithmic scaling for the percentile stats, since that just moves the “ok the other 6 stats are usable” point to around level 500, and starts breaking the game at higher levels because now mixed sets are effectively full sets in every stat.

Nerfing hard would create more problems than it would solve. Like the meta would switch to power because every other set in the game would be basically useless.

I personally don’t think hard enchants need to be nerfed, I’ve been playing since the second public test session and I don’t really use defense, It’s not required because most attacks can be easily dodged this makes power, and casting speed (when fixed) the most useful stats in the game. I feel like the npc aim needs to be nerfed, beam attacks specifically magic council captains beam attacks almost always hit so if your teamed on by three or so captains you can be instantaneously dissolved.

So basically the best gear set up currently is an entire Wizard Set with a Dull Power Amulet and Poor Power amulet, all enchanted with Hard?

I’m not saying to nerf it dramatically, I’m just saying it should be more reasonable, like 10% more HP from the hard enchantment rather than 15%. It’d also come with a defense buff to accessories that come with defense to incentivize them since there is no reason to use them if Hard gives significantly more defense than them. It makes gear that give defense outclassed.
