Reduce the amount of Spirit investment you need to make use of Spirit gear to its fullest from 33% of your stats to 25%.

Reasoning: Magic and Fighting Style gear do not have this stat investment requirement in order for you to make use of their gear to the fullest. With Vitality instead of Spirit, it was understandable, since Vitality was treated as a very unique stat with its health increase in exchange for damage reduction; however, now that it’s going to be essentially the same as any other stat once Full Release drops, it feels like an incredibly arbitrary requirement that serves no purpose whatsoever.

The main character in lore is a Savant. This means that they make use of every facet of combat equally, and I’m assuming that they at LEAST use the Eagle Patrimony canonically to some degree due to the implications in its name and description. The problem that exists in-game with this is that you are DISCOURAGED from investing into Spirit (Vitality as of current) if you’re not going to go at least 33% into it, discouraging 4-stat Savants, which is the very build that the player uses in lore. This makes very little sense.

You don’t need to invest 33% into Magic or Strength in order to use their gear at 100% efficiency. Requiring a 33% investment in Spirit after Full Release would feel incredibly arbitrary and not right in the sense that it discourages you from using the build that the player uses in lore, since with that mandatory 33% investment IF you want to use the stat to its FULLEST comes with budget cuts in terms of how many points you can allot in your other stats. It necessitates an emphasis on Spirit over everything else for essentially no reason.

My suggestion: Reduce the Spirit (Vitality) stat requirement needed to use its respective gear from 33% to 25%. You should still be obligated to invest a good amount into the stat in order to use its gear at maximum efficiency, but not any more than your other stats. This allows for viable 4-stat Savants investing 25% of their points into each of their stats while still being able to make use of Spirit-based gear.

This only makes sense.

i forgot there was even a requirement in the first place
imo 20% is probably also good but that might be too low

Using lore as a reason for gameplay changes is funny but the problem here is pretty understandable

Honestly I’d prefer that the spirit req was replaced with something else but I honestly cannot come up with anything that doesn’t become either gimmicky dogshit or braindead overpowered

Yes, glory to 4 way savant

Please

ok

Yeah this would be great.

tbh i sort of expect those items to be changed and either have no requirement or simply be exclusive to spirit based builds like arcanium and fighting stuff
but as we still dont know, this is better than nothing

make sense? yep, does vetex will add this? nope cus he doesnt want to reduce the first skill in fs to 0 like how blast is on magic, so.. i doubt he is going to the same for spirit
