Proposal

Bosses shouldn’t so readily be able to reset their health when the attacker goes some distance away, therefore I propose to ease up on the conditions.

Details/background on your proposal

This is most prevalent with King Octavious Caeser, as his AoE sword attack makes the player run away, which, in some cases, can allow him to restart his health bar due to the distance players have to travel. This change request would be to extend the range so situations like that won’t occur.

There are other bosses too that aren’t properly thought out when it comes to when their health should be reset, one that I’ve notably encountered is Architect Merlot, as whilst I was fighting him, I had to move a bit-away to prevent dying, only to be hit by a criminal and watch as Merlot’s health skyrocketed back to full.

Reason to add/change

This would assist people in fighting bosses, as you have the possibility of retreating, and in cases for King Octavious Caeser, you’d actually have a chance of fighting him on “fair” ground.

This one isn’t as big as my other suggestions, as per this is a simple “increase the range” change.

Don’t forget that the issues is also aggro range, specifically its reduction with stealth talent

The pain is real with this guy’s health resetting… Especially when you kill him twice just for him to reset
