Vetex listened to the community, yes, but there’s something I dislike.

Hide spell chat is combined with hide spell bubbles, instead of separate. Separating the two settings would help with user understanding and also make it so that players can still appreciate their attack names but also so it’s not so intrusive.

This. One of my favorite features in AO is the player’s freedom to customize their characters including their skill names so It’d be a waste for players with what they think is cool to be unnoticed. (Except Warrior they can’t name their skills lol)

Yeah, the main problem with spell chat was that it just got in the way, but I still liked to see the skills in the chat. It was ALSO some sort of walmart sensing feature, I could tell if an enemy was close by or not if i could hear their skills.

I just didn’t like how it was in front of my fov. The settings should have been seperate.

did i ever tell you that this was an amazing suggestion?

Or making it so we can scroll up the chat history so that spell names aren’t as intrusive lol

i could also say having three chat tabs that you can switch between- one for chat, one for world events (deaths, executions, etc) and one for spells- and then maybe another for all of them

Weapon names should be more customizable

Yeah this is something I immediately thought of after looking at the patch notes.
