The majority of forumers will surely not simply vote for the people they like instead of the greatest contributing members.
There are absolutely no chances of fawners, flatterers, and yes men being elected, none at all, especially when such a large portion of active members are closer to 10 than 18[1]!
Alas, I dare ask who and what is a ‘good’ forumer?

Anyhow, I can’t see this ever be a good thing. It’s nice that contributors get rewarded accordingly, yes, but the strife and falsity that this will make others engage in is not and will never be outweighed by some yellow text on a screen.
