imagine you join into AO for the first time and immediately end up in a cell lmao

i hope its not like the AG where they dont even try to kill you

Yeah…

WoM punished evil too heavily

AA hardly punished evil at all

Hopefully AO finds that perfect balance

v1.5.8

Changes

  • Removed Criminal Notices, Magic Council Fines, Threats, and soldier spawning entirely. These will be replaced with entirely new, less intrusive systems once the Grand Navy and NPC ships are added.
  • Instead of getting a Fine from killing a positive rep player while having a positive rep, you now get an increasingly harsh reputation loss. (These loss rates also apply when a negative rep player kills a positive rep player)
    • Killing Neutral: -100
    • Killing Friendly: -125
    • Killing Protector: -150
    • Killing Hero: -200
    • Killing Saint: -250
    • Killing Legendary Hero: -500
  • Reputation loss for damaging and destroying property as a negative rep now also applies when positive reps do the same thing, as a replacement for the removed Fines.
  • Jail time is now reset upon joining Arcane Odyssey so that it doesn’t interfere with the opening cutscene.
  • Combat logging now increases your Deaths by Player stat by 1.

Bugs

  • [Fixed] Opening the quests UI using the button can sometimes have UI overlapping.
  • [Fixed] Story markers over NPC heads can overlap.
  • [Fixed] Level requirement can show on the other quests tab in the quests UI.
  • [Fixed] Side quest enemies that are meant to vanish reappear for players that have completed the side quest whenever they respawn.

v1.5.7

Changes

  • Redwake’s warehouse doors now open when you accept Hundi’s quest, and it now has a quest marker.
  • Quests can now chain into other quests.
  • Hundi’s quest chain can now be fully completed, which also repairs the bridge.
  • Some enemies can now vanish or appear depending on side quest progress.
  • Landing animations no longer play when touching ground when sinking underwater, as they seemed to be too “heavy” for the speed at which you actually sank.

Bugs

  • [Fixed] Reputation bar doesn’t properly update on spawn.

v1.5.6

Changes

  • Added 2 new quest difficulty tiers. The tiers are now: Easy, Normal, Intermediate, Challenging, Hard, Insane, and Legendary.
  • Added 2 new quest length tiers. The tiers are now: Short, Average, Fair, Medium, Long, Adventure, and Odyssey.

Bugs

  • [Fixed] Material interactions can apply to blasts moving through the air.
  • [Fixed] You can’t complete quests if you have more than one.
  • [Fixed] If you have a quest at full progress and didn’t get the rewards for completing it for some reason, it will be stuck in your quests forever.
  • [Fixed] Pressing Open on your tracked quests will make the Story tab of the Quests UI still highlighted.

v1.5.5

Changes

  • You can now accept a repeatable quest again after completing it once.
  • AcceptItems are no longer given after the first time you accept a repeatable quest. (Ex: accepting the quest that gives a Wooden Rod and 25 Fish Bait will only give those items the first time you do the quest)
  • Repeatable quests are now fully functional.
  • When losing a limb while wearing torso armor, the limb will be “protected”, and the arm part of the armor will break apart and fall on the ground. This is called Armor Breaking, and it protects you from limb loss once, but once the limb is unarmored it can be lost like normal. You take half as much bleeding damage when you get an armor break compared to limb loss.
    • “Armor” in this case is defined as any chestpiece that changes the looks of your arms compared to default/muscular. So leather and iron armor will protect against limb loss, but something like the Merchant’s Coat would not.
    • This is purely a visual effect, and the arm part of the chestpiece can be repaired by re equipping it, dying, or rejoining the game.
  • Some objects in the world can now be affected by side quest progress, just like story progress. Currently the only thing affected by this is one of the bridges near central Redwake, which appears broken until you complete a side quest. (The side quest currently isn’t completeable)
  • Different dialog now appears when talking to an NPC with a repeatable quest that you’ve already completed once.
  • Started adding the second side quest. It can be accepted but not completed at the moment.

Bugs

  • [Fixed] Temperature error.
  • [Fixed] The upper part of the spire that the Shark Hall is in was cut off accidentally during building. (It was rebuilt)

Ok. So this is what might happen. Unfriendly will become the new neutral… so

  • Instead of getting a Fine from killing a positive rep player while having a positive rep, you now get an increasingly harsh reputation loss. (These loss rates also apply when a negative rep player kills a positive rep player)
    • Killing Unfriendly: +100
    • Killing Hostile: +150
    • Killing Villain: +200
    • Killing Tyrant: +300 or 350 idk
    • Killing Legendary Villain; (Demon): +500

I call Demon Rep Legendary Villain ik
That is what it’s supposed to be called so it can make sense. Please Vetex, make it happen.

do you mind not posting what is not on the trello mixed with stuff from the trello, and also not repost what has already been posted?
