Reminders for AO (Part 1)

im guessing they thought only from one picture: OH WOWW ITS A SEA OF THIEVES CLONE!!!

if they seen some combat gameplay they’d realize its literally two different games… :skull:

not if i snipe it before you!!

idk it’s probably people who saw the shoutout from roblox and did 0 research on the game then went and said that

sniped and verified

Justice for @Crystalys

this is why you claim it before you say that you’ll make it or else somebody will snipe it

i learned that one the hard way and i didn’t even announce it

What he sa I d

true…
also i want an excuse to use sun and phoenix so

i like how vetex just says “read this” and puts a link to the trello to braindead twitter users :skull:

Idk if anybody has posted this, but any thought into your magic choice order might be eliminated

I’m 100% for second/third mind magics being lower tiers than ones before it. Lore accurate, makes your choices more impactful, idk if it would be annoying or not but it seems like it’d be a fine choice to me. Don’t know how they’d function gameplay wise so ultimately my opinion on this means absolute jack shit but still in concept and from what little I know of the game this doesn’t seem like a bad thing.

In AR/AA both your second and third mind had a lower tier than the previous one, but if you got enough magic level (or regular level for ults) they would all hit max tier eventually making it even (I could be wrong about this info).

I wouldn’t mind it being this way since it makes it less tedious to calculate what the best order for your Base Magics should be for endgame

I feel like them being weaker at first but more quickly getting as as strong as your first magic to represent further mastery of the art would be cool. Sorta an in between, like you have to work your ass of to open your third mind but once you have it opened your capabilities with other magics (especially now that they all basically have the same abilities) carry over.

Well this pretty much confirms it, Forest Boss is from a side quest and not the main story. Main story quest givers are almost always very important and well thought out. If this wasn’t a side quest then the quest giver would not have been changed.

i get that people who saw the game for the first time are calling it that because vetex has not really sneaked magic combat yet.

Like just pretend u never knew what Wom or Ao was and u check vetex page and u see the treasure chart feature u scroll down and you see ships and weapon combat.
one may not know its a magic based story game.

Completely agree, you should be able to train each magic individually so you can equal them out by working for it

Yeah, I agree, it does make sense. I mean, I’m sure he’ll have it that way as it wouldn’t make sense for you to completely learn a fighting style and all of it’s moves

Wait. Actually…idk. If all fighting styles stay as “click q/e” then maybe your 2nd/3rd magic will instantly be fully learned. But that makes it a bit boring, right? Idk
