Reminders for AO (Part 2)

Won’t the story lead you to an obvious boss fight?

Id still think that it would be one of the first things because it is a mechanic

These are most likely post release items (the boss drop doesn’t count)

People don’t have good memory
Anyways can we please try not to make this dumb thing lengthy I don’t want to shit on myself

Even if I agree i just need this topic to be active and such so we can reach 10k before AO drops

Bruh what?

Arcanium weapons in some form are coming on release, the third set of weapon skills needs to be created but since arcanum weapons and strength weapons are being added i could see vetex throwing in a couple of each(artisan and spirit) just for the hell of it

Yeah I voted fighting styles bc of that too, might mean something else but I’d like to think that means fighting styles are next

Vetex says when he speaks rudely to nitpickers he’s “matching the energy”, which I’d argue he does quite well. Not how I personally would handle things because it’s a tad unprofessional, but I’m not him.

Magic visuals are taking about 3 days per magic so it’ll be about a month until then. And vetex won’t work solely on magic visuals until then so it’ll likely be something else in the meantime

wtf when was this my personallity has changed like did a full 180 lmao

I’m just guessing, but it’s not without reason. We haven’t seen or heard of any magic that resembles the effects on his weapon, and it’s a strength weapon so that completely rules out magic. It could be a weapon aura, but why would you give a boss strength weapons but make him a Warrior instead of a Warlord? Not only would it mean the boss doesn’t have an optimized build, but it’s also repetitive since the first boss appears to be a Warrior. Vetex has said there’s already a boss that uses fighting styles, and General Argos seems like the only possible candidate. First boss is probably a Warrior, we don’t know about Iris but I’m pretty sure she’s a Mage and not a Warlock because otherwise, she’d need to be level 600 to get Flare, and there’s no way we’re fighting someone that strong as the second boss. Third boss is implied to use weapons and lightning, which means he’s probably a Conjurer unless he has Knocking Fist. That just leaves the Forest of Cernunno side-boss and General Argos. Forest of Cernunno boss sounds more like a magic user based on his armor drops being robes and stuff. General Argos is the only one who is actually likely to use fighting styles, due to his ownership of strength weapons. If he uses fighting styles then that would also explain why his skills took so long to make. This would probably be Vetex’s first time making fighting style techniques in the game, and his skills would probably have to resemble what the player can use, so there’s a lot of thought and balancing that needs to go into that. And not to mention, if the effects on Argos’ strength weapons were from a weapon aura, that’d be pretty lame, since most Warriors will use artisan weapons, not strength weapons. Argos’ drops would be used almost exclusively by Warlords, and they don’t have weapon aura, so they can’t even get those effects.

What no boss stat build confirmation does to a man :pensive:

We fight her at about level 20. She’s an anomaly, hence her name, she could be a warlock but there is literally 0 evidence pointing otherwise

Again we don’t know enough about this boss, he could easily just be a warrior cause it seems like a missed opportunity to add arcanium weapons. the first boss we also don’t know enough about either. He could technically be a warden cause he has abilities like quick vanish are like nothing we’ve seen otherwise

I doubt the first boss is a warden, becoming invisible for a couple of seconds doesn’t seem like something you’d get from extra health stat

Spirit weapons :man_shrugging:
Those weren’t conceptualized back then, though, so probably not.
