because its not a base spell

If it is stated that it is a lost spell, they are not going to treat it like a base spell until they reach the point where it would not be one on the trello. The trello order is not even followed to the T.

yea i get that, but if a spell is being kept, and he’s already doing the visual revamps for all the other existing spells in the game, why not just do the hover effects alongside the rest of the effects?
if its still gonna exist later down the line just get it out of the way

and that changes anything how exactly? the spell already exists in the code so why not revamp it now while youre already dealing with visuals and shit

testers have been saying hover is already a bit strong against weapon skills, so i don’t see any reason why it would be buffed or made stronger in any way. and vetex himself has said that he doesn’t want to keep hover either and only keeps it because people would complain

he would have to:
Make a new UI
Make the spell scrolls and add its functionality
Create new lost spells since he will most likely be motivated

They just have to get better lol

how does any of that have to do with revamping the visual effects of a spell that already exists?

It would make alot more sense if he just abandoned it and left it be until hes at the point of lost spells for him and for us
