Vetex, stop keeping me edging for new content
Thandor was born in a small village shortly after the Fracture, when the new world was still harsh, dangerous, and empty. This village resided on a small tropical island in the smallest sea cluster, in a part of the world that was once called Athens(?). When Thandor was hunting(?), he found a dragon egg in the wilderness, which hatched the (???)
After seeing(?)/raising(?) the dragon in secret, the people of the village eventually figured out about the beast, and some tried to kill it. The Dragon, which Thandor named ??? for the dark gray metal like scales, took Thandor in its jaws and flew away from the village, above the treacherous sea. From then on, Thandor lived alone with his dragon in the wilderness, fostering his hatred for humanity. The bond grew dense, learning to communicate with one another telepathically, as dragons do.
Over the course of the next few decades, Thandor and his dragons attracted other dragons from the Dark Sea. How the dragons were able to find the sea cluster is unknown, though ??? says it was due to the dragons’ ability to communicate telepathically. Word of the new dragons were solid, and all had suffered terrible damage from the Dark Sea’s rain. Thandor helped heal the wounds, and (his dragon’s name) often handled for the dragons that were too weak to die on their own(?).
The same(?) dragons were not the last to arrive. Typhon, leader of the sea of dragons, eventually found the sea cluster and had many hundreds of his kin come to IDK, enthroned by (his dragon’s name?). The Dragons and dragon(?) even consider Thandor one of their kin, after learning of what he and (his dragon’s name?) did to the humans. To this day, the Dragons (???), as it is known now(?) - is the largest authority(?) of dragons in the world, and Thandor maintains the only human in history to become a dragonrider.
Thandor flew (his dragon) around the sea cluster over the course of the next few years, discovering there more dragon eggs, which he and his dragon saved. He eventually (??) powerful Shatter Curse, which would allow Thandor to look magnificently(?) like his dragon. Wanting another (?) out of his dragon)'s shedded scales, Thandor and his dragon beared a journey onto the (?) Dark Sea, but quickly returned after (his dragon) suffered wing tears.
The dragonrider lived peacefully with (his dragon) and the hatchling dragons for a time, until one day Thandor found one of the hatchlings killed, with a spear through the back and a dead human by its side. Thandor’s hatred for humans surged through him once again, and madness affected him. (his dragon) shared his rage after hearing of what had ensured, and together the two rained fire on all settlements in the sea cluster, killing thousands.
i got some of this wrong, but i don’t care. you try reading it if you’re willing to go through the pain
