Replace "Note Appraisals Received" To "Animals Killed" In The Player List Stathttps://forum.arcaneodyssey.dev/uploads/default/original/4X/c/7/b/c7b5a504b309bd888260e5e8c8dd4b8626d01438.png
Pretty simple and easy change so I’ll make this short, I’m pretty sure some of you have noticed by now that most of the time, players you checked out in the player list would most likely have 0 note appraisals received and as someone who likes seeing progress in people’s stats, this is kind of annoying on the same level as having obsessive-compulsive disorder.
The main reason for this is because almost no one ever interacts with notes at all aside from having your own alts or friends appraise them. Meanwhile we have a much better stat that most players often interact with, animal kills. This stat would be much better in line with the consecutive combat-based stats and just makes much more sense:
Replaced “Note Appraisals Received” to “Animals Killed” when viewing any player’s stats in the player list.
End Note
There’s also other stats like “Days Logged In”, “Diving Points Explored”, “Fort Raids Successful”, “Fort Raids Attempted”, “Meals Cooked”, “Potions Brewed”, and “Rival Defeats” but out of all of them I feel like the only one that fits the replacement for note appraisals received in the player list stat would be animals killed.
For the need of not overwhelming the player when they look at a player’s stats, it should show the stats of greatest importance in the menu[1], then allow the player to expand it somehow.
Fights, Kills of Players, NPCs/Bosses et cetera. ↩︎
I kinda agree with this, but a WAY better suggestion imo would be having a couple CORE shown stats (hours, player kills, etc.) and then a customizable set that the person gets to choose (probably from the stats screen). That would allow people to show the things that they’re best at/enjoy doing the most. For example; I would like to have “Time Spent In The Dark Sea” on my profile because it’s genuinely absurd, whereas my friend would likely want something like “Fish Caught” instead because he likes fishing way more than I do.
