Finally finished the Revamped version of my guilds old chest map. Now on map v.8. I decided to revamp the map with easier to read markers and a simpler layout.

Changes:

  • Removed all red “1 chest” markers.
  • Changed red marker from “1 chest” to “Private” chests.
  • Replaced purple with green.
  • Added 1 new location near silent.
  • Fixed a few location chest numbers with their actual accurate numbers.
  • Created Vector Markers using Ai
  • Used PS to sharpen the image to make the map a little more visible.
  • darkened the area to the top left to contrast well with the map.
  • Added larger Map markers for cities, with red makers inside to indicate private chests.
  • Created the image in 1920 x 1080 size so the map is a bit bigger.
  • Cropped out the map to size it down a bit

Well, I made the map using PS and Ai, it’s not necessarily advertising either since I don’t say “come join the Black Bulls.” I think it’s all good.

Thank you. Illustrator is great for making vector images which are images that can be scaled to any size and won’t lose quality, unlike pixel images. Photoshop has the same feature (pen tool) but I personally don’t like it and find it hard to use.

i haven’t used illustrater but i love the pen tool and using it to make waves or glowing neon lines
