Reverting the change that was done to rod length in the past update (idk if its a shadow nerf as i haven’t checked the logs)

Details/background on your proposal

I noticed that in the past update that the rod line length was SIGNIFICANTLY reduced to the point that its impossible to fish on siren island which was the safe spot for most fishers in the dark sea

Reason to add/change

To make it possible again for fishermen to fish on siren islands

fishing on any dark sea island I’ve found just doesn’t work anymore.

speaking of recent changes, what the fuck are these rifts around the dark sea that take 10 minutes to sail around and have nothing on them??

probably not the same thing, but once i still had insanity so technically i would think i was still in the first range, and crashed into a wall that just appeared, and after a few seconds the screen showed i was back in the bronze sea and it was apparently the pelion rift :sob: idk if it was lag or what but i never lost insanity so i didn’t expect to be back loll

No I mean in recent expeditions I’ve ran into rifts both sailing in and out of the dark sea.
They’re like the pellion rift but I’ll encounter them in the second range and they take a solid 10 minutes to sail around.

There’s absolutely nothing on them and they’re just annoying.

oh don’t worry, those have been around since dark sea release. vetex just made them more common because he hates us

the absolute genius within vetex deciding to buff siren island and rift spawnrates and gut atlantean ship spawnrates into the ground :+1:

PLEASE, fishing on your ship means constantly being dragged off by waves and attracting them to your ship

i cant even stand on the platform on the top of somebody’s brig to fish
i remember i used to be able to fish from cirrus island (the rod would reach the sea, but would despawn)

Vetex nerfed Atlantean ship spawnrate? I was sailing out of dark sea yesterday and a brig and two ketches spawned withing 10 seconds of eachother, and then sunk me from 19khp

i was hunting them since deckhand update to level quickly, spent an hour each server multiple times looking and only found 1-2

i went all the way to far reaches and only found one heavy brig, but in this time i found 10+ siren rocks and 2 rifts

the siren spawns are out of control for how easy they are and how much good loot they have, rifts are obnoxious and need to be rarer or given SOME kind of use, and something like an atlantean flare or just any way to coax the spawnrate of atlantean ships would be really nice

I was just chilling in range 1, just looted a siren rock, and my ship somehow took like 2k damage from some waves, so i was leaving, and then multiple atlantean ships spawned and were using seige weapons to aimbot my ship till i couldnt outrun them and then sunk me.

I also got struck by lightning two different times while driving my ship.
