What a perfect way would be to bring strenght’s Counter technique to weapons. Also, I’d not give the revolvers Onslaught and Quick Combo (oh whatever the dual flintlocks’ grab skill is). These two just don’t fit
Uh, no, quick combo needs two guns, it is even referenced in its description. And you mentioned skills of both rifle and pistols weapon types, therefore I assumed you meant all of them. If so, then the reload buff skill of the musket should also be compatible, I expect it to be, at least
Yeah but revolvers with removable cylinders weren’t even invented until 1875, with the Remington Model 1875.
Sure the Colt Paterson’s (1836) cylinder was removable but not in combat, and believe me loading a revolver back in the 1830s to 60s was impractical, so most opted to just use multiple and have them loaded beforehand. If anything a caplock pistol was faster to load.
Shorthand version is: caplock pistols are single shot but fast to load, revolvers provide 6 shots before a long reload.
Frankly doesn’t need to be a separate weapon from pistols at all but yes please. The game is in a severe drought when it comes to guns. We’ve got plunderers and swiftshot for remotely viable weapons, they’re both mid, long ranged attacks are bugged as hell, and the rare skill from plunderers is straight up just piercing shot with less range so yes, more gun content.
Would love a quickdraw unique skill for pistols that’s a counter where you fully dodge an attack and then dump all your remaining shots into the target you countered very quickly.
Imagine a gun skill that lets you full on just manipulate the path the bullet travels like in the Wanted movie. Would be so cool as long as the dumb anti-wall piercing system doesn’t torture us.
