Hah, sorry Dovanochi. I keep coming up with stuff to talk about when it comes to the game’s design and balancing and keep forgetting to make a proper topic.

Are you confusing nebula with enchantment? Nebula releases pulses of magic over time, that should be counterable with retaliate.

I have literally zero clue what retaliate is

My mans has never played a strength build in his life.

He confused a warrior for a conjurer (nimbus fort boss)

Rare Technique (originally a Lost Technique) that lets you either send an attack at somebody or teleport behind them if one of their attacks hits you soon after you cast the Technique.

What if the power armor stat was just removed? Like I know this topic is more on rebalancing how certain classes work but idk I feel like having no extra power and just investing in other stats like resistance, size, dexterity, etc would be more interesting

The wiki does say that the god imbues have some base effects
Poseidon +20% size, -20% speed
Athena +20% speed -20% size

I have not verified these myself, so it might be something vetex said or someone tested personally.
I honestly forgot to test for them (nor did I learn about the particulars of them beforehand) :sob:

I think the whole 20% thing is right, at first I thought it was 5 or something, I just wish it was more clear ingame as to what these things do, I was like in the first 20 to get the Athena imbue, probably lower considering some who got it before me weren’t even oracles, I just thought it did power or something

Mostly saying the God Imbue interaction doesn’t even really do anything outside of Patrimony and Tidestone band. Is because Nyx seemingly has a negative relationship with Poseidon if the steam coming off of it says anything. Which would imply that you’d recieve drawback because of it at the least or something.

Might actually have drawback and simply haven’t seen it happen, but we’ll figure it out whenever we use our Oracle file. Would’ve thought we’d quickly pick on it since we use Nichtaplia for Dmg reduction shield and the other rites added onto SoN.

I am of the belief that power and defense cause the game to become incredibly uninteresting armor wise myself.

At the very least, I think it would be interesting to try how the game works without both of these stats involved.

Had a look at the particulars. Seems the size, power/damage and drawback function as expected.
Can’t properly test speed/dexterity, but speed seems to have an effect and is at least somewhat similar to the wiki’s. (Also, the source of those base god soul imbue effects are from a bteam/tester, with no balance changes related to it since their message).

Nyx + Poseidon is not unstable, just neutral. No drawback. Steam effect is present on (almost) all relics when imbued with a god soul.
Indication of unstable is cracks being visible on the relic and the crystal cracking sound. Maybe also some particles related to the relic since lightning effects appear on Poseidon + eagle’s.
(Tidestone doesn’t produce any relic particles so I can’t confirm. It still gets the cracks.)

Yes, I think it would be interesting too. I personally think defense can stay, as I feel like it keeps a choice between resistance and flat-out HP. I think a lot of people would prob run armor piercing/regen/resistance as their new “power” stat and then the others
