Classes and abilities and tiers in AO tend to be weird to understand at first. So I thought of this way to make it simpler and more lore accurate. I’d like feedback on this since I plan to make this a suggestion for potentially Full Release.

Attack Tiers are tied to level and not allocated stats. Savants already have a lower stat requirement per tier so this literally grants the same result but its simpler and easier to understand.

Any class can get any ability so long they have the skill points. If im a savant and I want 2nd magic, then I’d need (example )250pts into magic to unlock it. If im a warrior and I want crash, then I can just get it by putting 30stats into strength.
If I want to imbue magic into my weapons, then I need say 125 stats on magic and weapons, and in the future, if I want a lost magic on my weapon, then I’d need 400magic and 125weapons. Classes are just names that represent where most of your stats are, and do not lock you out of anything specifically.
- Awakenings. They’re a thing in the game but not in the lore, still, if you must have them then lock stuff like 2nd magic, warriors aura, imbues… behind a story requirement even if you have the stats for it, its that shrimple.
I want the game to be simpler to understand and allow for more build variety.
