With the soon to be added “Duel” option to the game, it showed that you can bet Galleons (I know the name changed) against your opponent and the winner gets the spoils. Although this could lead to many other features to that system if given the chance.
For Instance: Betting on Rivals. With this you and one other person (if you have rivals) can have your mortal enemy duke it out and see who has the stronger rival. Similar to the Duel betting, you can bet on which rival would win and could be a fun little side game for people with Strong Rival npcs.
This would also encourage players to get their own rival and hunt them to make their rival stronger for these said Rival Fights.
It could be a fun way to make money off of someone. Perhaps it could turn out to become a NPC tournement to those who have money to spend.
I just don’t see the point. I don’t think anyone would actually do this more than once or twice, and how would you even “convince your rivals” to fight eachother? Why not just farm your rival as normal for charts and bounty/fame?
Shadow of War does something similar, you can make your orcs fight higher-up orcs to promote them. Maybe it could be similar here; you can make your rival stronger by making them fight other rivals. That would be more interesting than tournaments or galleon rewards, to be honest.
ngl, I saw the title, and I though you were gonna suggest to add like actual fighclubs in criminal hideouts or whatever, you could like sign in daily for fights with only basic combat m1s and parries. (that’s never making it into the game, but I want the redwake homeless knife fight joke to become real)
I don’t have suggestor role, and when I eventually do get it, I’m posting a suggestion I’ve been working on for a long while, that I believe in much more than I do this
Neat idea but like said there’s no real point.
And by game lore I don’t think ur rival would agree to becoming a gladiator for their mortal enemies entertainment and money
