Roblox cursor getting anchored in place after dragging screen with RMB

so i noticed my cursor getting stuck in place a while back (like it was freezing) but i just tested it out and figured out how it happens.

basically i was dragging my screen with right click to move my camera around with my mouse and after i let go of right click and keep moving my mouse without interruption, the cursor stays anchored as if i was still holding right click (but the camera angle does not move).

idk if anyone else has noticed this but it really throws me off during pvp and shit. i originally thought it was a wom issue, but it happens on every roblox game.

does it happen to anyone else?

This exact same thing happens whenever I alt+tab, I release right click moments after taking out, and Roblox still counts it as held down, so when I tab back in it’s stuck.

Outside of that, never happened to me.

i just tested alt tabbing while dragging camera with rmb and it also gets stuck for me like that as well.

so if u held down right click and moved your mouse to drag ur screen, and then let go of right click while still moving ur mouse (uninterruptedly), would your cursor immediately start moving or will it freeze like mine?

for me, i have to briefly stop moving my mouse after i release right click and then move it or else it’ll just stay planted where i originally started dragging my screen from.

Tbh I have no idea. I haven’t touched Roblox in over a week and would have to test, but it’s 2am and I should be sleeping anyways, so I’ll try that some other time.

wym? the cursor starts moving again if i just stop moving the mouse and move it again. watch the videos.

you know how holding right click keeps the cursor planted and u move ur camera like that? well, for me if u hold down right click and move ur mouse in a direction, let go of right click to move ur cursor while still keeping the mouse moving in that direction, the cursor will freeze for a bit.

notice here in the video, as im about to land i let go of right click and continue to move my mouse. my camera stops moving around because i let rmb go, but my cursor still stays planted. it doesnt move as i move my mouse. this has hindered me several times. i have to then stop moving my mouse and move it again in order for the cursor to get moving. :pensive:
