But on a serious note what the hell was the thought process behind this? Like this does fuck all to stop condo owners since those dudes make more than enough money to pay off the $5/month free. All this does for the platform is:
-Further bar people from entry into game development (already requiring some form of ID is absurd)
-Kill off a large chunk of roblox’s current game roster since I damn well know most smaller devs aren’t gonna stick around if this change hits
Steam keeps winning cause every other ‘competitor’ keeps shooting themselves in the foot every 5 days
