Roblox may be setting AO to 17+ age rating

Pretty sure any ratings below 17+ are just recommendations

This has truly been an arcane odyssey

Mod thinks that a picture of red juice scares people

No EVEN BETTER 18+

trying to explain to your parents you want to play a 18+ roblox game ( its not p*rn the mods is just scare of ketchup )

Mod has Hemophobia

start screen-shotting the game now for evidence.

So it’s decided the blood is still realistic…

i can attest to this

you fr got a warning for a joke?

common roblox mod L

see i wish there was a middle ground like 15+ because yeah the game has some dark themes and does have blood, though its nowhere near needing to get slapped with a 17+.

It is a bit too dark for the general roblox audience of 13 or lower, but getting slapped with the videogame equivalent of NC17 is too much. Keep in mind, semi-realistic cuts, blood effects and splatters, impalement, characters being crushed to death, and scenes of the player character commiting murder (its obscured but its way more realistic than the usual lego man death).

It never goes too far but its never light about the dark themes and elements.

AO is definitely a work of creator passion more than front page garbage, but its shackled to what roblox is, and roblox unfortunately is not about that kind of expression.

im very certain it was terrible auto moderation. because someone in the game told me they reported me (they were joking so idc), and i very promptly got kicked from the game and hit with a warning. I joined the same server and someone else reported me for saying idiot, and i got kicked and hit with another warning.

how are y’all getting kicks and warns at the drop of the hat when I’m over here getting messages along the lines of “your banned kid” and walking free

Exactly.

I don’t understand why 17+ games on Roblox require ID verification anyways. That’s a stupid requirement and quite frankly, no game does that, not even actual 17+ M rated games. There is not a single M rated game out there that asks its players to provide ID verification to access the game. At most, a game might pop up a warning message to inform players what themes are in the game, but no game asks for an ID to play. It’s a ridiculous requirement.
