By the time another living soul reads this, I will be no longer be alive.
Whether that be from bloodloss or mutation, I will no longer be what I once was. Whatever scenario ends my life, know that I carry the key to the cargo hold of the Steel Commander, it’s wreck is currently somewhere on the northeastern end of Palo Town.
I will, well, will have locked myself in the basement of the house this note is in, if this note has been moved then Mayor Tilly’s house, just so I don’t hurt anyone if I do mutate. Any soul brave enough to venture deep into the town and into the depths of the basement to retrieve the key from either my corpse or the mutated husk that was once me, you may have the cache of items left in the Steel Commander.
It ranges from boxes of food, hundreds of cannonballs, explosives, all sorts of weapons, and ship blueprints for all sorts of items. I pray, that at least one day some soul can find this note and reclaim those items. Don’t even bother trying to blow the door open, the Steel Commander is so heavily reinforced that you’ll just bring an Atlantean horde down on you before it’ll make a dent.
If you do decide to brave the basement and I have mutated, know that theres a weakspot somewhere near my lungs. I mainly know this because their damaged enough to the point where I’m starting to drown in my own blood. Some damned G.N Executioner stabbed me with a spear covered in some Atlantean substance around there.
My only request, is that if you do end up killing my mutated husk or find my corpse, that you take the gray and green badge off my corpse, find G.N Commander Matthew Barion, and give it to him. Tell him that “Roy was sorry he couldn’t make it up the Stepstones” for me, please. He’ll be somewhere on a sky island, either Cirrus or Skycliff, just ask around if you ever make it up there.
