Sailor's Lodge as a Fishing Spot

Sailor's Lodge as a Fishing Spot

why do these details matter, what I’m telling you is that this “majority” of players you’re talking about doesn’t exist.

also I’m not talking about macro fishers I’m talking about people that CHECK to see if somebody is macro fishing, which I thought I spelt out incredibly clearly.

Because it matters considering how little the fishing community has become :fr:

You’re probably implying that what I’m saying about the majority is 500+ which isnt :sob:

Im not either tho, the sole reason you think they dont exist is literally because the fishing community has become smaller, not only that, there are huge bodies of water.

Now think about encouraging them to gather in one place, how do you think this would boost the statistics of people checking each other if they’re fishing legitimately :fr:

Hypothetically, it would by a considerable amount at least

let me tell you why the majority of players don’t care about macro fishers:
1: It doesn’t affect them
2: They aren’t being paid or given any incentive what so ever to care about something that doesn’t affect them

If that’s the case, then the argument that making “things easy only easier would make it worse” would become pointless if no one cares at all about them :sob:

At the very least, provide encouragement to the almost extinct community frfr

I said that was the problem with people not fishing to begin with, that’s why nearly nobody fishes to begin with.
That had nothing whatsoever to do with macro fishers, though if fishing was actually engaging and fun then its likely that not only would more people fish, less people would macro it.

I literally already wrote an entire suggestion about fixing that exact problem.

where are you going with this?

Isn’t the problem mostly because the knockback catching made fishing really inconventient considering not only is fishing boring but you’re required to use your full attention unlike a simple click

What im suggesting is a spot where that is reverted and gives caution to those who attempts to macrofish considering people see the suggestion as making it easy for macrofishers in the spot

I’ve seen videos in wom that’s pre-knockback update, if we were to use that as comparison, and most I’ve seen is that there are more people fishing compared to post-knockback update so pretty much I’m going to base my suggestion on the observation that the knockback was the cause

I also planned on making a suggestion to rework fishing until I researched on what vetex says about it and that he wants fishing to require no brain activity so the best I could do is at least this ig.

absolutely not where did you get this idea.

Observation ig, im not really a wom player so the best I could do is watch random videos related to it :sob:

Ao is one of the mmorpgs with some sort of freedom that I like similar to black dessert so I’ve been mostly looking up stuff

In WoM, yes. Plenty of times. Engaged in many conversations myself. There wasn’t much to do in WoM, and fishing was the only way to really prepare for AO. But AO itself? When there’s plenty of other things to do that’ll provide a whole lot more entertainment and rewards than fishing? Absolutely not.

…So go to the place where you’ve been macroing before? How does this benefit regular fishers in any way, shape, or form? It’ll only be a matter of time before macroers learn and go back to their original spots, thus we end up back at the same spot.

It’s likely that this feature would be abused by rkers and lb folks to ambush anyone fishing here, therefore driving away any of the regular fishers and rendering this suggestion useless.

I hadn’t even considered that.
If sailor’s lodge or any other island had an advantage for fishing, it would be so easy to jump them for the world’s easiest renown.

Oh yeah that’s fair, there’s more people who rk in ao it seems so me suggesting a spot still doesnt fix it

Im out of ideas for making fishing easier then :sob:

Pressing W works out alright in my opinion

Lmfao?
