So from what I have read in the discord, it is intended that you cannot be in the same Clan across multiple slots, but I am very confused why. I made a clan on one slot and really enjoy messing around with my friends in it, but when i got bored of playing full mage and made a conjurer, I could not join it which makes no sense to me. I don’t think it would be unfair to anybody if you could join the same clan again…
I agree that is weird, as joining a clan on multiple slots before it was changed didn’t add to the member count and let you keep the same rank as your other file, and allowed you to progress more files whereas not being in the same clan on different files does the opposite and kind of forces you to play one single file.
It’s a mind-numbingly stupid feature. Beyond me why Vet believes that being able to join your guild on more than one slot is classified as a ‘bug’, and not left as a feature. Why do I have six files if I’m only going to play on one to support my guild?
There’s no reason that I could think of why Vetex may have made this a feature since it only works to hinder the player’s activity to one slot. You can even make the argument that it encourages alts since you can only join a clan on different accounts.
Maybe it’s so you can have your other two slots as part of the in game factions? For those with six slots even more so, they’re the syndicate and the navy. Maybe for the other two slots you can join those and progress through them???
