Tell me what’s some of the most disturbing and horrifying shit you’ve ever seen on a video.
For me it was the vita carnis series. Specifically the species Anamoly report video. It’s one of the most unnerving and traumatizing videos I’ve ever seen. If you’re gonna watch it. Don’t watch it at night. You. Will. Fuck. Up. Your. Sleep. Schedule.
100% Documentaries about albert fish, a close second is this one youtube parody on “Inside out” called “Outside In” (2 is way more terrifying), it mainly ocmpises of edgy cookie-cutter horror but god damn is it SCARY
I think the scariest video I’ve ever watched is the Mandela Catalogue Vol 1. video, when I was first introduced to Alternates (before the FNF fandom ruined the Mandela Catalogue for me).
ngl after watching all the videos mentioned in this topic i really only found the meat one slightly disturbing
if you wanna keep them coming i will genuinely watch anything
edit: ok i have been heavily humbled turns out the meat one effected me more than i thought it did i can’t unsee the mimic’s uncanny human eyes waaaahhhh i can’t sleep
Yknow when I first saw the vita carnis video, I thought it was gonna be another stereotypical analog horror representation videos.
I was wrong.
I was so… so… wrong
The way the kid was crying as it melted into a skeleton
The darker pitch of the mother crying as it melted into a skeleton
Usually I can finish any video from beginning to end.
I can handle practically anything liveleak had to offer, and have listened to a crap ton of people being killed on tape. This was not a video I could finish from begininng to end
I GENUINELY had to turn my volume all the way down
I lost sleep that night
Easily one of the best analog horrors i’ve ever seen.
Just watched Vita Carnis, and idk if I’m just used to Analog Horror now or it just wasn’t scary to me
The costume in the Mimic Self Defense video kinda just ruined the scary factor for me, since it was a bit silly. I just didn’t find the monsters as scary as the Alternates in the Mandela Catalogue. I do admit the screams of the daughter and the mother was horrifying, but It didn’t feel the same when I first reacted to the Mandela Catalogue (DISTRAUGHT AT THE SIGHT OF HER MISSING INFANT)
I do think the religious aspect of the Mandela Catalogue makes it more scarier than Vita Carnis, because I did fear Christianity at one point for being too creepy and culty. Vita Carnis isn’t a bad analog horror series at all either, It’s cool
ok yeah agreed, Alternates are more interesting since they sorta varies from the slender skinless fleshy humanoid thing without eating people, but inflicting insanity and prolonged mental suffering
my first introduction to any kind of horror was a playthrough of a doraemon resident evil game (it was called nobihaza or something) and it mentally scarred me for life
