A pair of Scots enter an elevator (called a “lift” in the UK, yeah us Britons sure are weird) only to discover that it runs only on voice commands. The elevator is unable to recognize Scottish accents and as a result, will not take them to their desired floor and won’t even let them leave. The two try to improvise but none of their solutions yield any result. You’d expect them to just wait patiently and calmly for someone else to come by and get them out, but in what universe do you expect Scottish people to be patient and calm?
