Dark Sea rain takes 1 month of continuous exposure to fully turn.
All SCPs aside from 001 proposals, joke SCPs, eigenweapons, reality bending SCPs, pataphysical SCPs, and SCPs that have caused or are causing a K-class scenario are canon.
All tales are non-canon.
All GOIs, departments, and MTFs seen in included SCPs are canon.
The weather across the world is equivalent to Range 4 of the Dark Sea
1 billion sirens will appear across the world on all land touched by humans, all Level 90.
1 million young dragons, 100,000 adolescent dragons, 10,000 full grown dragons, 2,500 powerful dragons, 1,000 ancient dragons, and all mythical dragons and dragonlords will appear across the world on all land touched by humans.
The Zeus, Poseidon, and Pan god souls are scattered around Afro-Eurasia and America
If all god souls are gathered within 10 meters, the Dark Sea and all its horrors are vanquished.
Scenario: 4:18 UTC, ██/██/████: A meteorological anomaly is detected at Point Nemo. 4:24 UTC, ██/██/████: The anomaly begins rapidly expanding. 4:31 UTC, ██/██/████: The O5 council is convened. 4:46 UTC, ██/██/████: The anomaly reaches South America. An XK-class scenario is declared, and the Veil falls. 4:50 UTC, ██/██/████: The first reports of hostile creatures. 5:03 UTC, ██/██/████: The anomaly has completely covered the world. 5:11 UTC, ██/██/████: A book known as "Athena's Wisdom" is discovered by the GOC and its contents are shared to various paranormal organizations, including the SCP Foundation.
…are we assuming that the Foundation and most GoIs would temporarily collaborate?
If so, would the O5 council decide on utilizing SCP Objects? If both are yes, then I beli-
oh. didn’t notice the weather part.
yeah no they’re fucked. range 4 weather is fucking absurd.
also would like to note that normal humans (the vast majority of people in almost every canon!) are like level 1-5. i dont think 2000 is gonna get the foundation out of this one. nor would they be able to get 055 to 579.
By including “all departments”, that also means that the Fire Suppression Department is included, whose entire purpose is “hey we need to save money and manpower, let’s commit numerous human rights violations and break almost every ethic norm in order to keep our employees employed here”. Every GoI has their limits.
This would also, simply due to the weather, be a massively handicapped foundation (and GoC, CI, etc) with likely massively fucked up inter-site communications. If even compasses don’t work in the Dark Sea, you can’t really expect long distance communication to.
While I cannot say that I have read every SCP (not many can), I can say that I do not believe there is a chance that the Foundation will be able to assemble the god souls. Mostly due to how poorly written AO’s dark sea and magic system are when compared to anything else. The environment and infection alone would be enough to fuck over all existing GoIs, so adding in a billion sirens and an absurd amount of dragons just feels like overkill.
and these scenarios aren’t interesting when it’s just gonna be “AO universe/AU wins lmao”
Yeah, given the earths population(like 8 billion last i heard?), 1 billion sirens, they only need to kill like 8-9 people each to eradicate us
even without everything else, the sheer amount of sirens just kill everyone by virtue of oneshotting and basically traveling like mosquito’s when they do fight
Also a lot of the stronger scps just got excluded anyways so-
Who is to say that the Foundation or Global Occult Coalition will be able to mobilize their forces before many people die? The issue with Sirens is that they’ll just go and kill the unarmed humans.
It’s tough enough to coordinate a global response to man-eating monsters that can be killed normally, let alone when those monsters can fly and communications are likely heavily disrupted (plus global weather is the worst that it has ever been).
also as i said before, with the sheer amount of sirens, that’s like 8-9 humans per siren
Depending on how quick they are able to actually move & how spread out they are within human areas when they appear
Assuming every siren spawns near 8-9 humans (they could likely kill way more per, especially with all the unarmed humans while the ones that actually are armed are just swarmed and exploded[1]) we just die
like, every single siren would only need to kill 8 or 9 humans, the average human just dies, and then the military would be overrun from sheer numbers and lack of ammunition/supplies
the dragons are not even needed
idnfc that magic requires magic to deal damage, it makes no sense so i choose to ignore and let them use magic attacks ↩︎
There are massive logistical issues with the extermination of sirens, on top of all the other complications.
Just because there will be enough people doesn’t mean that it won’t be a massive drain on resources. Not to mention the dragons.
The only way the SCP side loses, if plot demands them to lose. For example if they didn’t have all the overpowered technology, overpowered anomalies and reality bending individuals, and what not!
