Even though I’m learning more advanced stuff, I still go on Scratch from time to time because of how little time it takes to make good-looking projects. Something that takes hundreds of hours to make in PyGame can probably be recreated in Scratch in an afternoon.

Scratch is a website for people to learn how to think about coding. It is 2d w/ drag and drop. Some people have created insanely impressive stuff on there, such as a 3d modeling software or a 1 to 1 recreation of Terraria. There is also a featured page, where the best projects on Scratch are displayed. This drawing is the most recent featured project.

I definitely am not upset that my top-down Phasmophobia recreation with a lighting system gets 1 view while a drawing that a preschooler would scoff at gets hundreds of likes and is featured on the front page for weeks. I am extremely calm right now. I’m not crying, you’re crying.

Hmm, yknow i should probably learn how to program
(Also could you link the phantasgoria game im interested)

I fucking hate coding with a burning passion

It’s unironically not that bad Tbf, but it’s also not hard, it would just be REALLY FUCKING TIME CONSUMING

I mean, this scratch would deadass be one of the most tedious shit on the platform, can you imagine how hard it is to do this with pen?

(This is unironic)

Tfw you spend 30 hours making an online game in scratch only for it to get 4 likes over the course of 2 years

I heard there’s some genuinely good and even beautiful stuff on Scratch. Then again Strach is like Roblox: Piles of Shit, then Dimonds

Are you talking about the rock paper scissors one? Online games are rough because two people have to view the project at the same time to enjoy it.

It’s not that good but here it is.

Holy hell did you make that all yourself?

I found the music and sound effects online, and the idea is a copy of a steam game. But I did all of the code and pixel art.
