Second awakening and class concepts part 1- Warrior

I wanted to talk about possible new things that classes may get prior to and during second awakening. The first build I wanted to cover was warrior

Before second awakening warriors will already have a few rare or legendary weapons that only they can use, on awakening it would make sense for them to receive a 4th weapon slot and access to artisan weapons

As for artisan weapons, I feel they could be similar to their namesake, allowing warriors to create their own weapons by mixing and matching different parts
Each part( grip, blade, body, etc) would have a skill associated with it which will be usable in the artisan weapon

Artisan weapons should be on equal ground with strength weapons and arcanium ones, being a perfect middle ground with the status effects of arcanium weapons and the raw damage of strength weapons

What do you all think warriors may get?

they get jacksh*t :+1:

literally almost every mages, berserkers and warriors ive seen dread having more than 3 slots, some dont even want to go above 2

Mages and berserkers I can understand but why warriors? An extra weapon slot is a huge help

i personally havent seen any warriors wanting more than 3 weapon slots, thats al

Dunno personally feel an extra weapon slot will be great for utility, having an extra weapon for purely defence or mobility

What else do you want warriors to have then?

ig this work if you have 3 weapons for fighting and then a shield

might be a little overpower tho, since the total of skills warrior would have is like 20, compared to… 24… oh nvm

Yea something like that, you can have a shield or a dagger for mobility with 3 slots dedicated for your main weapons
4 weapons all for attacking will just burden the player, not to mention some attacks will share cool-downs.

Maybe they will gain the ability to use two weapons at a time? Like shooting both staff’s piercing gale and bow’s rain of arrows at the same time, or launching devastate while in process of spiraling fury? Im not talking about separate keybinds for these, just warriors won’t care anymore about endlag and will be able to use skills after switching weapon while previous weapon’s skill is still going

Being able to simultaneously use skills is wayyy too Op
But being able to duel wield weapons with skills being mixed according to your liking is actually not bad and could be what 2nd awakening gives you

probably access to artisan weapons, very weak ones though

This weapon type, artisan, is actually worth waiting, and many theories can be created about it. Mixing and matching different parts of weapons could be very interesting and useful, imagine attaching a dagger to the halberd’s polearm, the nevermiss op dagger. But won’t created weapons cause tremendous lags?

You can create restrictions so that you can’t attach a bow to sword or something like that, and each Artisan weapon has to be made of weapons of same rarity and somewhat similar functions or something like that

Crossbow with sword’s tip serving as a bayonet, whats wrong?

The only things I anticipate for warrior’s 2nd awakening are:

  1. Artisan weaponry (Which will probably just be legendary weapons)
  2. Yet another attack size increase

Artisan weapons should not be a part of the awakening, thats true. Imagine Argos’ weaponry being warlord’s awakening. And yet another aura is just stupid to add.

conjurers get to cast magic spells and weapon skills at the same time post awakening

(you can add a weapon skill to a normal move to create a combination)

(like, a blast spell + flying slash or something idk this idea is stupid anyways)

Honestly, artisan weapons seem to be enough, except if you can’t get the parts before the awakening

I feel like artisan weapons only would be good. Artisan weapons should definetily be warrior only.
