I kinda… don’t wanna raise a fanbase of horny creeps that probably don’t actually appreciate my work for what it is but rather the material itself
then again I have no idea what my fanbase would look like since… I don’t have one yet
honestly I don’t really even know how newgrounds (the website I’m using to start snowballing) really works
is there any way to tell when people start like, noticing me or-
when you start seeing more repeat visitors instead of one time visits that’s an indicator that you’re starting to grow a fanbase usually

if your main motivator is for the entertainment of others maybe its better but idk
nah there’s nothing wrong with desiring praise im sure we all do, just make sure what you’re doing is something you actually enjoy and not only just to appease other people

I kinda feel like what I like drawing isn’t very popular or many others do it but at least that’s another thing that keeps me motivated
I think my biggest worry is that the stuff I like drawing is probably too niche or not compatible with a general audience
